No root for me,Samsung pay is way to awesome to lose out on.

It wasn't a specific image, but with an all white screen you could easily tell by how discolored some areas of the screen were compared to other areas.

A lot of people will eventually experience burn in, that's just the nature of amoled. My s6 has screen burn, my s7 edge didn't have any but my wife's s7 edge had it bad. In both cases though, you couldn't tell unless the screen was all white. Personally I don't really care since it doesn't affect my daily use.

SMH, come on dude, the speedtest was ran before noon, look at when I did the test. I did the screen shot last night, also look at the ip address.

3xCA is insane here, I was at the grocery store and needed to download a relatively large file and it took just a few seconds. So fast that I had to run a quick speed test and I was able to hit 203.44Mbps.

No issues with band 41 personally. When I'm inside I'm usually on band 25/26 when I'm outside no issues being on band 41 and if I'm not and I need that extra speed it switches anyway. Also can't believe how fast CA has become. Just ran a speed test and got 177 down.

I love everything about this device. My only real complaint is the fingerprint scanner location but I find myself using the iris scanner 90% of the time anyway. And speaking of the iris scanner, it works perfectly for me except for when I'm outside in the day time which then forces me to use the fingerprint or password. If you are on the fence whether to buy this or wait for the note 8 then I could understand but if you don't care then s8+ is an excellent device to own.

Didn't realize you said face unlock, I thought you meant the iris scanner. I think part of the update was to improve the face detection but I haven't set that up, I've only been using the fingerprint and the iris scanner.

No issues here at all, mines still works just fine. Just keep in mind that if you are outside in the day time its basically not going to work though.

Looks like an update is out at 390+mb. The change log is pretty generic but this probably includes the fix to where you can't remap the bixby button.

For those that don't already know, use the shop samsung app to register for the free vr/$99 bundle. For some reason many, including myself had issues doing it on samsungs website but the app works perfectly.

I ordered 3 cases like two weeks ago, two are clear tpu cases and the third is a clear tpu hybrid case.

For me the iris scanner works just as fast, haven't had any issues with it and it even works in the dark. edit: Seems like the more you use the iris scanner the faster it gets, I'm really digging this s8+ thus far.
