  1. Nevermind, I just downloaded google messenger and I see what you're saying. The stock messenger app and textra doesn't have this issue. Edit: Works fine with my s7edge but not with the 10.
  2. Can you use the stock messaging app and see if it does the same thing?
  3. Is this happening with the stock messaging app?
  4. I never implied there will be a version of the 10 with wireless charging, I am just saying that the technology is readily available and htc could have implemented it. HTC is a company with a lof of "first's" when it comes to the smartphone industry, this could have been something else added to their list.
  5. Uhhh, not necessarily. Qualcomm came up with a solution last year that will allow smartphones with a metal exterior to be able to support wireless charging.
  6. Honestly, its a fantastic device. HTC made sure to check on all the required boxes this round. Just wished they had a version with a slightly larger screen and also have wireless charging.
  7. Google keyboard is great but I still prefer SwiftKey. As far as the stock keyboard on the m10, it's horrible in my opinion.
  8. The display is fantstic, sure its not going to have that pop compared to an samoled screen but its still a really good display.
  9. HTC has really been focusing on camera performance this time around so I am sure they will continue to provide updates to improve the auto focus in low light situations.
  10. If you are having focusing issues in any lighting condition it could very well be a hardware issue.
  11. Well I wouldn't really call it an issue, its just slower to focus in really dark situations compared to lets say the g5 or s7. Overall the camera is still pretty outstanding.
  12. Its primarily in very low light situations but in any other condition its perfectly fine.
  13. It won't give you any more information than whats already known.
  14. No, sprint shouldn't do anything different at this time, for what? To appeal to consumers like you who represent less the 1% of their overall consumer base? What percentage of sprint's entire network still doesn't have band 41 much less 2xca or 3xca? There is absolutely no point in having all these marketing gimmicks when sprint still has a long way to go to get their network up to par and consistent where it needs to be. If their network is were it needs to be then it wouldn't make a difference what they call it.
  15. Having all these different names for their lte network will do nothing but confuse consumers. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what its called, whats important is that it performs well everywhere or at least in most places.
  16. As far how the m10 performs on sprint, you won't be disappointed.
  17. There will be a natural progression no matter what the technology but specifically speaking going from 2xCA to 3xCA isn't as big of a leap compared to going from 3g to wimax/lte. The real world benefits are marginal at best.
  18. Tech enthusiasts won't keep one phone for 2 years, they would more than likely run through several devices during that time. I am as excited for 3xCA as anyone else but in reality 2x is more than enough. In many areas around me I am averaging 100mb down all day and night. What would I possibly be doing on my phone that warrants that kind of speed much less anything faster?
  19. So far, rf performance seems to be really good on the s7/s7 edge for sprint and the 10 for sprint appears to be very comparable to that.........according to my peeps. So trust me when when I say that htc fans should be pretty happy with the 10 this time around. I won't buy one on release but I will wait a month or two and get one at a lower price.
  20. Don't worry about the numbers, from what I have heard, its by far the best rf performing htc device on sprint thus far.
  21. Wish they offered a model with a slightly larger screen with a slightly larger battery.
  22. Several are good, I would recommend the spigen crystal curve screen protector but beware, if you are using one of those slim low profile cases, they tend to cause the edge part of the protector to peel off which can be very annoying. But I did have great success with the spigen, thats what I have on my s6edge right now and never had an issue with it.
  23. Seems like you are an audiophile and for the most part htc investing heavily in that won't make much of a different in sales compared to lets say investing in a camera and a software engineering crew that knows what the hell they're doing to create a wonderful camera experience. So htc really needs to focus on a unique design, camera performance, a smooth sense experience and they still need that one added feature/service that enhances the user experience. So basically anything that can get the mainstream media talking all positive things about htc. At the same time though, it may be little too late no matter what since the s7/s7e is already out, which I must say is a fantastic device(I currently have the s7e) with lots of great features, great camera, and great battery life then there is the lg g5 which should be out before the m10 as well which has a lot of unique features.
