Back on the 26 love.
Where were you when you connected to b26?

Charile is definitely getting something out of the deal. So does Sprint and I don't mean overpaying for T-Mobile. A lot of moving parts to this one.
Maybe it will be like someone stated on the forums. Sprint gets the spectrum and the customers. Dish gets tmo infrastructure to build their network.

What I think will happen is phone prices will drop. Look at apple. iPads cost less then their phones. With more competition and companies competing directly for business. That is better for us.
Also, it will make it so that people that usually buys low to midrange devices will be able to afford high end devices. With the many $0 to $99 down deals I see on most devices.

I wonder with the new update will they beef up the reception to the level of the .15 radio but have it so it will always connect to b41 first even if b25 signal is stronger

So many / all of you root? Which method? CF autoroot and Wug's toolkit look good. Wug's is what I'm leaning to because it can add Twrp recovery with the same tool.

I used Wug's tool kit to root my first gen nexus 7 tab two days ago. It all went through with no issues. Just make sure you go into developers options and enable USB debugging.

The site on the Edwards Waters College campus is active. I don't know if its accepted on the maps yet.
Also I've been enjoying b41 around town other carriers are going to have a hard time competing with Sprint.

The only thing that I did was flash the .15 radio and made sure that b41 was priority 1 and it connects with no problem. Without having to do any tricks

I'd wait for the iPhone if that's the ecosystem your in. Especially if apple is making the iPhone 6 with different screen sizes.

Dope! How were you able to connect to B41 with you Nexus 5? I didn't think it would connect without the Spark update? I was waiting to pick one up as soon as the N5 was Spark capable. The G2 is on my radar, too.
Flashed the older modem software. Also I had to enter into the epst and enable b41 and b26. I made sure that b41 was set to 1 priority.
You must have a custom recovery to flash radios.

Well, I have finally gotten to experience b41 for the first time today. (Thanks to SpenceSouth) Its definitely widespread in Jacksonville. In my testing I averaged around 35-40Mbits per sec on the DL and about 11Mbit on the UL.
I'm using the Nexus 5 on older build modem so seems like my device only connects when in a b25 low signal area. Which for me is great b41 seems to fill in the holes pretty good.
With this three layered network Sprint is sure to win in coverage and speed. I went to some other forums earlier and all I saw was complaints. They must have never visited s4gru.

Newb question. Do you have to be rooted to load the .15 radio?
I loaded mine through TWRP.

I'm loving this .15 modem. Not only does it connect to b41 with no problem it holds LTE signal all the way up to -130. I don't know how stable it is at that signal strength though. Props to all the people that tested this out for us to use.

Yes you need to enable the bands in the engineering screen, need to know your msl
Should be in the email sprint sent you when activating (they call it activation code, it's 6 digits)
