    Yeah it's pretty crazy/awesome. You pick up so many more background noises that it can drive you nuts. It's like the ambient noise microphones don't do anything. My wife was thumbing through a magazine, and I heard every page turn and paper crinkle.

    I've had the same experience between an iPhone 5s and my nexus 5. You can hear way too many background sounds. It reminds me of talking to people with cheap Bluetooth ear pieces.

    Google needs to update these phones. I randomly get the no ring or notification of missed call if someone calls. But as soon as a voice mail is left, it lets me know in seconds. I tested it plenty of times. I hope fixed soon and they through in spark update to enable the radios. ;)

    Well at least you get voicemail notifications. I have to check mine every hour or so because I don't get voicemail notifications.

    What's the speeds looking like?

    I stopped running speed tests again to me there's no point. In not going to get over 60mb. I used to use it to see how a particular site was running. Now since I have widespread LTE I can do anything that needs to be done on my phone.

     

    I live in this area and B41 runs anywhere from 40-65mbps, depending on signal strength and the time of day.

    True it's fast. Didn't have any problems updating my Google apps and watching YouTube.

    Looks like someone's kid got a whole of one of their parents pre-release m8. This kid is annoying as all hell but at least you can see what the device looks like. Not only did he show his face on camera but he also showed the device ID, someone is getting fired for sure.

    His parents are going to be pissed. Hopefully they aren't fired. I wonder if HTC will release a mini and max version of this device at the same time as the regular version?
