Has anyone noticed on some of the recently updated root test that they switch some of the devices used?

This T-Mobile dude basically says Sprint works well for him but he's willing to pay more for T-Mobile even though the service sucks for him, just because he loves T-Mobile.

This is the dumbest crap I've ever seen.

never mind I read the post wrong.Honestly, I didn't expect it to be fast. It's totally packed today. Like you literally have to park across the street to get a spot now. Good thing I do all of my Black Friday shopping online!
Got me a new AC5300 router, Madden NFL '16 for Xbox One, and the StarWars Steelbook saga for good prices.

I think the half off is great. Sprint just needs to advertise the crap out of it from today thru the new year. TV, radio, online, billboards, etc.

That's a great idea I thought of that. I looked at my trade in value and Sprint will give me $280 for my Nexus 6.Just trade it in, get monthly credit, then use the money you saved on your monthly credit on the phone payment. Haha

I asked 3 different reps and received 3 different answers.Good question. You could call Sprint and ask? I dont see why you couldn't though.

I didn't want to make a new thread to ask this question so I'll ask it here.
If I want to trade in my current device through Sprint. Can I use the amount that Sprint gives me as a bill credit and apply it towards the easy pay balance of my new device?

Well, I went to the Landing last night. It was a packed house. Long story short Sprints band 41 performed wonderfully. Everything was running smooth as if no one was connected to the site at all.

Thanks for your response. I've been considering selling my Nexus 6 and buying the 6p but since their isn't a major difference I think I'll stick with my Nexus 6. I like the design of the 6p though. On Tmo/AT&T Bands, the N6P is slightly better than the N6 in reception. Equal to the N5. Although it seems to hold on to B4 better than the N5. But WiFi speeds are noticeably faster on my N6P over the N6 and N5. And that's likely due to WiFi MIMO.
My N6P battery life seems on par with the N6 during active usage. I was hoping for more, but I have been using this thing heavily. But it kills the N6 in standby battery life and charge up speed. My N6P drops about 1% an hour in standby (with a good signal). It could go days just sitting there.
The charge up speed with my 5 amp car charger and a fast USB Type C cable is over 3% per minute. Sometimes even getting to 4pc/m. I can almost recharge completely in my 20 minute drive home (if I leave it alone). With the wall charger from Google, I hit a 2-3pc/m recharging. Which is ~40-45 minutes when completely dead to full charge.
The one thing that really hurts the battery though is standby on T-Mobile WiFi calling. It drops like 8-10% an hour on Tmo WiFi calling standby. And I don't know if that is normal, or because I'm using it an areas where Tmo has no signal at all.

Anyone had a chance to compare the 6p reception to the moto Nexus 6? Also how's the battery life with the bigger battery?

Arysyn's dream just went out the window.600MHz is broken up into hundreds of licenses of varying sizes. Tmo is likely to get a mix of 5x5, 10x10 and zero all over the country in various channel assignments.
There will be no one 10x10 license nationwide for anyone. It's going to be hand to hand combat for every license on every block. If someone spent some major coin and tried really hard outbidding everyone everywhere, they could *possibly* end up with an amalgamation of 10x10 licenses nationwide. But not likely.

Yes I'm done with giving Comcast my money. The only reason I still have Comcast is because they have the best internet in town. So I keep them and just bundle internet and TV. I've been thinking about dropping their TV service and just keep the internet. The only reason I haven't done it yet is because I'm under contract and also the satellite companies want to put me on auto Bill to get all the new customer perks and that's out. I will not auto Bill anything after what I went through with boost Mobile on my sons line. What'll happen is Comcast's theoretical need for a 300GB data cap will be gone, and they will improve speeds up to 1Gb/s to existing customers for free. But, not until Google Fiber is available at your door. I cannot stand the monopolistic environment cable companies seem to plant themselves into. At this point, I'm with you. Even if Google Fiber is more expensive than my Comcast internet bill for the same offerings, I'll still pony up the extra $10/20 just so Comcast doesn't get it.

If Google fiber makes it to my neighborhood Comcast would be gone in an instant. I don't care what I have to pay to get out of my 2 yr agreement that has 6 months left I'll pay it.Looks like Jacksonville and Tampa are getting Google Fiber! The moment they arrive in my area, I'm cancelling Comcast!

I have a friend of mine that left T-Mobile about 3 years ago for that same reason. Their family would go to Fitzgerald, Georgia to see their family and T-Mobile would have no service. He couldn't call, text, or use data at all. So as soon as he made it back home he dumped them.If Sprint turned off roaming, I'd be gone. I don't know where I would go, but I picked Sprint for one reason and one reason only--when I visit my parents for a day or two every few months, my phone works. It roams onto US Cellular and I am not completely in the dark. Take that away, and I can then look elsewhere.

I used to do that a few years ago before buying the Nexus 5 I used to own. I have a couple instances where I could use voice and data at the same time. Most of the time I have my iPad with me now.I hope you aren't behind the wheel while taking and browsing the internet.

I know this is going to sound crazy. I like not having simultaneous voice and data. I had a really bad habit of talking to my wife on speakerphone and browsing the web at the same time while driving 45mins from work to home.

You have to sacrifice one way or the other.True, but then you lose the functionality of the other 2/3rds of the network.

This sucks if true:
Unlocking the bootloader of the Nexus 6P seems to be blowing a hardware fuse, you can't reverse that

Well I guess Sprint is really serious about densifying their network and adding band 41 to most of its footprint.Lmao. Like I said I wish I knew how they got it.

Say hello to the Framily (inexpensive but potentially confusing new Sprint group plan pricing)

Are users able to successfully add new lines to framily? I thought Sprint stopped allowing new adds.
