I'm not sure which ATT band I was on but Sprint was band 41.What bands where you using for Sprint and At&t?

I was at the Publix shopping plaza on Normandy and i295. I should have used my wife's iPhone 6s plus instead of the Nexus 6 because it has CA and the site had two active carriers of band 41.Which parts of Jax are you in? Sprint is slow as a turd here in Southern Jax, but can be pretty consistent the closer you get to downtown. It's mainly the suburbs/rural where Sprint is typically sluggish, at least in St Johns/St Augustine.

Sprint and ATT speeds were consistent. T-Mobile was all over the place. High low sometimes the download was slower than the upload. All of those speeds are very usable. I wish all of the carriers were able to provide those type of consistent speeds. T-Mobile's downlink in some speedtests show that there's some congestion.

Just a little speed test comparisons between AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile. (In that exact order from left to right) AT&T is on the iPhone 6, Sprint is the Nexus 6, and T-Mobile is a LG Leon.
I was testing these devices while I was waiting on my food outside a restaurant. All carriers had towers in the area.

What's the deal with T-Mobile making most video streaming free? Is this a tactic to do away with unlimited data? Seems like they should almost make all their plans unlimited.

I must give it to Sprint they have Jacksonville well covered with LTE. I do think that Sprints scan time and their threshold in which LTE drops needs to be tweaked. Also it's band 41 or die for Sprint. How long can a tower with nokia equipment stand idle until they finally turn it on? 46 days after installation and still not online. Still with sub 1 mb speeds on all sectors.

They can do the same but Sprint is trying to cut cost but in the wrong area of the business. And Sprint can't do the same because?

AT&T usually reinforced their racks when they upgrade their panels and RRUs

Awesome what device you are using? Also are you connected to a Sprint B41 or Clear wire B41?Seeing some nice 2X CA speeds in OP.

It was visible 2 weeks ago. They have since been covered. It's a flagpole site.Is there equipment on it yet? It could probably be easily identified with a picture of it.

There was a new tower built behind the GATE Gas Station at the Town Center. Does anyone know which carrier or carriers are broadcasting from that site?

I doubt that the map is true. I can't really see what band I'm on using SCP since the Marshmallow update. Most of the time I don't have a chance to open up the LTE engineering screen.According to Sprint's LTE coverage map, it looks like Jacksonville just got a lot more LTE Plus enabled. Anyone else agree with the map coverage? I will probably test a few areas in Southern Jax soon with my Ringplus line.

Yes, I'm still on Sprint my kids have T-Mobile on my mother's account. T-Mobile is pretty good. I had to order a wifi cellspot for them to get service inside my home. I'm thinking about switching if they ever run the 2 unl lines for $50ea again. I don't see that happening though. I ended up getting an AT&T iPhone 6 and iPad mini 3 from work so I do have a backup for when Sprint doesn't work. You still on Sprint? I still have a Ringplus line for testing but T-Mobile is pretty awesome all around me. I'm keeping an eye out for the B12 sightings as they pop up. Expected to be around August.

I'm pretty sure T-Mobile will come out with Guns blazing installing band 12 once the purchase goes through.Verizon and AT&T have performed an upgrade to replace panels on the tower across the street since I asked Sprint about the site in November.

Meanwhile AT&T has upgraded their sites again and VZW is upgrading their sites with 3 big panels with RRUS up top.The legacy site off Old St Augustine Rd and 9A is still not upgraded. They had it planned for March. Wonder what happened.

Hopefully it's the mass rollout of band 41 in Florida.Every PCI in Ocala changed last night on every site. Example my pci numbers for my site was 33, 371, and 202 but not its 324, 325, 326. All sites now have more uniform numbers like this also. What does this mean?

That area needs two or three sites and small cellsI saw a new tower being constructed behind the Gate gas station on Town Center Parkway and St Johns Bluff near the beltway

I've been seeing a lot of AT&T work going on. I haven't seen any band 30 on my iPhone yet. In fact I don't know if the iPhone 6 supports band 30.I just checked local permits. Looks like a ton of AT&T and Verizon b66 will be active in Jax soon.

Waiting on capacity and waiting on new devices. Looks like innovation has hit a wall in smart phones.

I guess you spoke it into existence. ????Wow talk about strange timing. So my home site was the last tower in the entire county to get lte and now its the first tower to get nokia equipment. Seen this happening today. Funny because my tower is the second most congested in the county but damn man finally some capacity relief is on the way.

Also Huawei said that they are producing a 2016 Nexus as well. Many thinks it's a refreshed Nexus 6p.
