Honestly at this point the only reason I'm with Sprint is because I'm on a maxed out Framily with unlimited data. Whenever U-Verse starts offering service in my neighborhood. I'm dumping Sprint and Comcast for AT&T.

Not here dude band 26 drops off to quickly. I've noticed that T-Mobile band 4 travels further than band 26 in my testing. Sprint needs to optimize this market more. You might want to come to ocala because here band 26 is really close in coverage to 3g. Basically if band 26 is at edge of cell then 3g is too. They went crazy last year adjusting band 26. But they still use b 26 for capacity which I guess they dont have a choice since they refuse to add capacity.

I agree when Sprint starts deploying more band 41 they need to be pedal to the metal and spraying nitrous in the process. This capacity problem can be fixed easily with more sites.Sprint capacity has gotten worse. They are still great for calls/texting, but data really needs improvement. There are times where loading even Google Maps becomes a hassle.

I'm almost positive you will.T mobile hinted at 4×4 mimo and 3 way carrier aggregation. Will we need a new device for this

I figured this would happen. Knowing the cost of your device and increasing your bill with every device you lease/finance. Make your bill increase significantly depending on the number of lines a user has. Also, premium phones has a longer life spans than they didn't in the past. Speaking of running properly after owning it after a year or two.http://www.wsj.com/articles/americans-keep-their-cellphones-longer-1461007321
Funny, people are upgrading less now that they know the actual cost of their devices. Funny how that works...

Orlando's service is great so is Daytona. I wonder what's the hold up on the NGN project here in Jax there's definitely some places that can use a band 41 fill in site.No that was in daytona. I dont think thats considered central florida. I can tell you central florida gets no love if your not in orlando.

Looks like Central Florida has been getting the love. Meanwhile in Jacksonville I haven't seen any upgrades going on.

I thought I'd never say this but if Sprint doesn't show any progress by the end of this year. I may explore my options. AT&T is installing fiber in my neighborhood so they could be an option. I have a work line with them already. Also T-Mobile doesn't look too shabby my kids T-Mobile lines have LTE more than I do on Sprint but T-Mobile is terrible inside my house. If jacksonville is a launched city this is not good news. Nokia is clearly behind but NGN should fix it. No one knows if NGN has already begun sadly.

Lately I haven't seen any work out of Sprint. We are 4 months into 2016 I have seen no signs of NGN. About 90% of sites broadcasting band 41 is clearwire equipment. There's very few Nokia 88ers in this city. Hopefully Sprint does something soon.Either the map is wrong or nokia failed jacksonville but I think the map is wrong.

My kids phones would do this often. Sometimes it even shows No Service when standing outside. My buddy gave me his old phone and it's unlocked so I picked up a T-Mobile SIM to check out the service again because I haven't looked at them in a while. Does anyone notice that T-Mobile phones have a very hard time holding on to a weak HSPA/WCDMA signal and drop to edge a lot because when I set my phone down on a table for a while, it picks up a bar on 4G but as soon as I pick it up, it goes to edge.

That's true T-Mobile should be getting some 700 here part of the new spectrum that they have acquired. I expect them to get it rolled out fast. Probably faster than Sprint adding band 41 to more sites. It does amaze me how good T-Mobile is in some places despite not having any low band. Some places T-Mobile has LTE on band 4 and I'll be on 3G.Sometimes speed and reliability go hand and hand its not all about call coverage. If I have LTE but it works like 2G then it is deemed unreliable. Sprints LTE coverage is quite good there but thats where it stops. Sometimes they are fast but I would say 65% of the time that's not the case in my personal experiences. Tmobile whether it was LTE or HSPA+ it was really fast about everything however they do have more dead zones in Jacksonville since they dont have 700a there. Its kind of a toss up and mimics my experience throughout most of Florida save for Tampa, Daytona, Kissimmee, Orlando and Miami. Tmobile where it has 3g/lte works well while Sprint has more coverage but congestion makes them unreliable in many places. So if they mean coverage reliability then Sprint wins but if they mean speed reliability then T-Mobile wins. I was in daytona yesterday and Sprint was great even when band 41 was not around so I know they can step it up.

Sprint is definitely more reliable but definitely not faster. My kids have T-Mobile as a part of my mother's 4/$150. I must say T-Mobile is blazing fast but as far as making and receiving calls it is not good. In fact my home is a T-Mobile dead zone. Their phones float between edge and hspa. When I try calling them their phones either go straight to voicemail or has a busy signal. Even with wifi calling active. I agree with you Terrell Sprint is padding the stats with this one.So Sprint just posted this and I gotta say I'm calling BS on this one. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-beats-t-mobile-on-network-reliability-in-jacksonville-fla.htm. I don't trust neilson as all of there data about Sprint contradicts other sources. I have been to Jacksonville enough times to see that Sprint is not faster than T-Mobile. Call coverage probably since they have 1x800 but data no way besides having more reach thanks to 800. There is not enough band 41 towers in Jacksonville meaning when you hit band 25/26 you really feel it especially in congested areas. I want to see detailed information about how they come up with this stuff. Its interesting that this was August 2015 when Jacksonville was suffering from some kind of capacity issue.

I was at Universal in mid October the service was slow but usable. I believe Sprint has band 26, 2 carriers of band 25, and 2 carriers of band 41. So the park has plenty of capacity.Anyone been to Universal Studios recently? Looks like T-Mobile is having a hard time there.

It connects then says it wasn't able to authenticate with the network or something along those lines.Really? Try a profile update and PRL update. Does it just not connect? Or does it connect but calls don't work?

El Paso, TX 20+20
Harrisburg/York, PA 20+20
Spokane, WA 15+15
Savannah/Macon, GA 20+20
Some Sprint PCS contiguity gains:

You should be able to since it's a non-subsidy plan. Can you do Sprint leasing program if your on a Framily plan?
-
Wonder if it will be available to current customers.According to a post in /r/Sprint, Sprint's new unlimited plan pricing starting on 2/12/16:
Looks like a solid response to T-Mobile.

I haven't seen any activity out of any of the carriers last month. Sprint iPhone's were having issues making and receiving calls for a few hours this morning. So, any findings recently in Jacksonville market? It's too quiet. I was told by a Sprint rep that the legacy site over by Lowes (off 295 and Old St Augustine Rd) would be upgraded to LTE by February. I haven't been by there lately, though.

This seems to happen when its an AT&T to AT&T VoLTE call.I've had it where it just doesn't ring, and then someone answers. on AT&T VoLTE my phone will usually start ringing before ringback tone is heard on the callers end. Sometimes when someone I call who has a line that does that will answer so quickly that I freak when I hit call, hear silence and then "hello?".
