March is open enrollment. Call cust care and add tep or be friendly with a sprint rep, the system will allow us to add tep anytime its just against policy. Ive worked preferred retailer repair stores and now a corp store that does advanced exchanges, if you have tep or add it this month with open enrollment you can get it replaced at the store for free in a day or so. Alternatively you can call samsung, they will provide you a RA number and u ship them your phone. They will repair or replace it if they consider the issue is under the limited warranty. Hot spots and tablets are unlimited for corporate employees. Each employee can have one phone for free, 1tablet for 20, 1 hot spot for 20 and 1 phone connect for 15. I was not aware of that increase for lte. That really sucks. Sprint doesn't actively train reps on relay and im sure many do not know about it.The first time i set some one up i had no idea what it was. Sprint relay is 39.99 a month for unlimited data and messaging. I dont see any reason why if u know some one at sprint you couldnt get on it if they liked you. Ive set up about a dozen deaf people on it and all the sprint rep has to do is call into the sprint relay department to move a phone number to that plan. But if you know a sprint employee that would be willing to break rules they are probably good enough friends to put you on their SWAC line plan which are $40 for 500 anytime minutes, unlimited everything else. Ive ran a third party repair store and ill tell you why they didn't replace it in store. The techs are paid based on their repair vs exchange rate and were more interested in their wallet than helping you. They also could just be retarded. I know one third party company here where i live now is damn near worthless. I stick to corp stores now. Many are advanced exchange stores and will order a phone anytime anything happens with tep. Sprint has started to advise corporate store employees that 3g and 800 updates will start in our area soon in clusters. They told employees to expect complaints with poor network performance similar to the Chicago markets troubles but promised that they have learned alot from chicago. In my experience the galaxy 3 dominates the sales in the 200 range. While the 4s and 4 dominate the low end. The store i work at hardly sells any of the less than 100 androids. In my opinion there are 2 types of customers, the people that will pay fir the best and those that want free, there seems to be no middle ground even though most phones are priced in the middle. There are now two tiers tier one is non smart phones and possibly people with no premium data and it goes 200, 150, 100 50. Then tier two is 275, 225, 175 , 100. I've been using one from not long after launch and I love it so far. I get goo battery life, it's snappy and as far as I can tell connects decently to lte. I worked my way up from a sales rep to store manager at a preferred retailer during college before I moved back home and took a job at a corporate store. After seeing both sides I can say the training sucks when it comes to technology and how shit works. I've seen dumbasses on both sides, for example a previous PR store manager in south bend swore up and down once Verizon had lte here sprints lte devices would roam on it.... that's the kind of Shit we must fight. And on another note I've worked at 2 preferred retailers and if any one here works for one take this advice.....quit and get a job at a corporate store.
