I love my one but I feel it has the same rf issues as the evo lte. Of course I'm biased and have 20+ lte phones at my disposal to test against. The one consistently looses lte signal while sitting next to other phones and speed tests 10 to 20 percent slower sitting next to galaxy note 2s, gs3 and gs 4. Like I said I love everything about the HTC one except rf. I should say it works great around town it just sucks that it's mediocre in the place I spend 45 hours a week. about a year ago sprint started forcing reverification. Anytime you upgrade any line on your account and its been 24 months since the discount was verified it will prompt it automatically. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

This happens with about half the galaxy 4I've sold. Go into settings, apps, all apps, google play store, force stop &clear cache. Then try installing apps. I've had a perfect record doing this. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

Keep it on lte/cdma the tech was full of shit. The text issue is a known issue when they switch on 800 3g. Clusters here have been active for over a month here ive noticed great improvements south of town where i used to loose signal on my way to my parents near potato creek. Also on the bypass between south bend and elkhart i get much better 3g and pandora works fine for the 5 mins i dont have lte. 3g used to worthless in that stretch. I havent seen specific pre nv problems but sometimes phones have issues and need an update to fix incoming calls not going through. In south bend some people have incoming call issues and i know lots including me with out going text issues during nv. It all started with 800/1900 3g roll out here but we were told to expect it. Not all the bands are compatiable im sure, its not all bad having to get a new phone sprint is giving us cellular customers in chicago/south bend/ft wayne an additional 50 off each phone on top of the 100 port offer any new customer gets and credited activation fees. Plus sprint will buy and recycle their us cellular phones. So they get galaxy 3s for free, iphone 5 and htc one for 50, galaxy 4 for 100 minus whatever their trade in phone is worth. Those are all incrediable offers if you ask me. Where people are getting screwed is failing sprints credit checks or not get approved for enough lines as they had at us cellular. The reason i ask is i had a rep look up my tower on Glance at a store today for issues and we saw that now all the towers in south bend area have 800 lte listed as scheduled in next 3 months. Your pawn broker shouldn't take phones if they are attached to an account. If a person does not pay their bill their phones stay attached to that delinquent account forever and the phone is worthless. I see it a few times a week from phones people buy off craiglist. Their is nothing you can do and sprint will not release the phone til they get their money. This is why i and every phone rep i know all ways tell people to meet at a store before buying a phone. Even though sprint doesn't ask your social when one of these accounts is set up it will still pull up old customer accounts based on the name or address. I had a guy want this last week but couldn't sell to him because he had an account with the same name and address that owed money. These no contract accounts get set up exactly line a normal account except the rep puts all 9s for the social and puts in a pay as you discount code in instead of an employer discount or credit union discount.
