  1. I don't know, but I hope to find out eventually. Of course I sometimes feel like I have cursed myself for what I have already learned as a sponsor.
  2. Where in PA did you go? If you where a sponsor you could see the nearest 4G tower there. It would be funny if that one isn't broadcasting and one on the other side of the border was.
  3. The sensorly tracks do extend a bit further in to Delaware than I might expect from a Pennsylvania tower, but still hard to say considering the terrain. Of course if I lived there and I got a good signal, I wouldn't care if it came from Delaware, Pennsylvania, or Ohio.
  4. That is/was my initial thought. It is still a good sign, but until it shows in the acceptance reports I can hope. Some good mapping and engineering screens might give an answer. If I lived in northern DE I would probably spend a couple of hours doing that. That said, a site has to be broadcasting 4G sometime in Delaware, probably sooner rather than later.
  5. Hopefully the next acceptance report will confirm that yes there is a 4G site in Delaware!
  6. I believe you and your screen shots earlier are enough proof. Since you have an iPhone you can't map the coverage with Sensorly. It is just one of those quotes on this site.
  7. While it would be great to have fiber to the home with Sprint, I am not sure it will happen. Despite my disdain for Verizon, I do love my FiOS! Then again just about anything was better than Comcast. Convince your HOA to let them in, its worth it. :music:
  8. I don't doubt it, but I did find the coincidence with Platinum's posting amusing.
  9. Funny thing, I woke up this morning with the Sprint Zone News alert saying they are building a new network (even though the news link is about a week old). Not that Hockessin, is really close to me.
  10. Hopefully the tower is in Delaware. Probably coming across the border from PA though, there are several towers on the PA side that are live. Either way, its good news.
  11. I wouldn't think so, they would probably try to get more spectrum in the bands they currently use. That would save the cost of deploying new equipment and new phones.
  12. I went back and took a look at the numbers from the acceptance reports. Between 5/28-8/8, 52 new sites where added and 35 iDEN sites where converted to NV. IIRC one of the new sites replaced a nearby legacy site, so considering that we can say 86 new sites have been added (all though not all are 3G/800/4G completed yet). If the original plan was to convert 100 iDEN sites to NV, then at least one third are on the map. Now how many where done before Robert began posting the acceptance reports, I don't know...
  13. Is there any chance we can have a map of only new and iDEN conversion sites? How many iDEN sites of the originally mentioned 100 have been at least partially completed?
  14. True. I can't argue that. Now, if nTelos would follow Shentel's example....
  15. Shentel looks like they are doing Network Vision better than Sprint.
  16. I am not sure but it sounds like your 3G speed is consistent with NV speeds. If you have photos of the tower you can use the how to spot Sprint antenna and RRU guides, that should let you know if its done (or at least being worked on).
  17. As a Delaware resident I wouldn't expect Seaford to announced. I would imagine it is much more likely they will announce Delaware service in two areas. Wilmington (or Wilmington / Newark) and Dover.
  18. I am now convinced that was a NASCOW. Since full builds are underway, I imagine (and hope) that we will something by the end of the summer.
  19. I think two months might be a safe bet. Northern Delaware might be completed earlier, but I wouldn't be surprised if the first live LTE in the state is south of the canal though. I am patiently waiting. I'll probably go bezerk mapping the first half dozen towers south of the canal on sensorly.
  20. I believe (and it has been discussed somewhere in these forums) that the sprint website is showing upgrades to the legacy network.
  21. I suspect the back haul is the primary reason we haven't yet seen LTE here. For a third (or is it a fourth?) round market they seem to have completed a good percentage of the 3G work though.
