  1. I think the money goes to paying for the hosting service, I doubt Robert its getting rich of this website.
  2. There is a separate map (actually several) with all the Sprint Towers in the sponsor' section (that you can see). The main map only shows sites that have been accepted or marked in progress. Sites marked in progress come from member reporting that work is going on. All 38 thousand sites will be receiving NV upgrades. There are around 100 won't be receiving LTE upgrades, there is a thread in the sponsor's section that discusses them, but they should be receiving all the other upgrades. As for the sites not completed around you, work may have already started. If not they should probably start soon since Michigan was one of the earlier markets. Sensorly may help you determine what coverage looks like in your area but since you are rural it may only give a partial idea.
  3. Get some pictures. I am curious to see how aggressively they have been removing legacy equipment.
  4. I would think that map might lag behind, but I'll keep an eye on that one as well.
  5. That one looks like it has a long range. It looks like you'll have a lot of mapping to do.
  6. Nice find, I wonder if it will be in the next acceptance reports! Get a screen shot of the speed test and the engineering screen.
  7. Interesting read. I have been considering get a non-smart phone to carry around while cycling just in case. Since I probably would almost never need it, Ting seems like the way to go.
  8. Tough to say. There are 3 towers that are closer, but its not unusual for the LTE signals to travel.
  9. It's been a while since I have been there. I just remember a lot of antenna. It might be one of the ugliest water towers out there. I'll need to check it out again.
  10. In Kent county almost all the sites are full builds, I really expected more GMOs. A few of them I have recently learned have fiber within maybe 200 feet of them. There potentially could be many LTE sites in Delaware in a short manner of time...
  11. The active LTE site still has the Nextel antennas in place. Several sites around Dover still have Nextel equipment in place too. There might be one that has had them removed. They don't seem to be in a hurry around here to remove it. However I am noticing more and more NV sites where they have removed the Sprint legacy equipment.
  12. That is the information that is out there. Is it Jan 2015 or Dec 2015? I don't think anyone knows for sure. It is known that they are deploying dual mode equipment at current Clear sites. I suspect they will only maintain WiMAx equipment up to whatever date in 2015.
