  1. Yes, but this proves that if Sprint wanted to do something similar, they could.
  2. Hmmm http://www.rcrwireless.com/article/20140709/infrastructure-2/alcatel-lucent-small-cells-integrated-ericsson-lte-network/
  3. Wasn't Comcast a part of SpectrumCo as well?
  4. While service has probably improved it's still depressing to me to see all those (particularly on the western side of the US) without LTE.
  5. Actually, while yes they do have a 10x10, the other 10 MHz came from two blocks of 5 MHz unpaired which they likely wouldn't have used anyway.
  6. Or, put him in Bellevue, NE where he'd be CEO of a company that doesn't sell service there.
  7. The whole article is a little odd in that they only talk about 800 MHz in the last paragraph. You're right though, they're imply that Sprint hasn't done any work with 800 MHz when we all now that's not true.
  8. Tim, you feel like correcting the same band 41 equipment error, only on a different site? http://www.rcrwireless.com/article/20140625/carriers/sprint-site-tour-shows-spark-influence-lack-800-mhz-lte/
  9. Speaking of Light Reading, Karl Bode apparently doesn't think that the public unveiling of 8T8R is "wow inducing" (second comment). EDIT: Forgot the link: http://www.lightreading.com/mobile/devices-smartphones/pics-sprints-day-at-the-broadcast-museum/d/d-id/709580?
  10. Here's another map: Fun Fact: I grew up 15 miles away from Iowa's scariest thing.
  11. Tell the dude behind you to pick up some fried chicken and call 911 then.
  12. I can't help but notice the absence of a certain European Networking vendor from your list.
  13. Shouldn't European carriers be choosing vendors for their LTE rollouts fairly soon? I wonder if Samsung is going to make a strong push that area.
  14. Wow you're right http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/industry-and-economy/info-tech/samsung-reliance-jio-team-up-for-4g-infrastructure/article5444591.ece
  15. Reading the first page of this thread was fun. Eric was concerned about H block support, funny how things work out huh?
  16. How do you guys determine how good the equipment is? Do you just read the official docs or look at the FCC specs or is there something else?
  17. Oh wow I didn't know that Verizon was using Samsung's small cells. That speaks highly on Samsung then because there's no way Verizon would use cheap crap for their equipment.
  18. Since we're on the subject of NV vendors, has Samsung landed any notable contracts since Sprint? I can't think of any and that seems odd to me given how well they've done for Sprint.
