  1. There are some hilly canyon type areas near me that are served by repeaters. In my area, they are apparently manufactured by a company called Juni and are at the moment serving only 3G. I'm curious - Is there a general timeline of when these may be updated by Sprint? FWIW, they don't appear on the maps in the sponsored area.
  2. FYI Manually enabling the bands hasn't worked for anyone except a small few, AFIK.
  3. You know, I have to agree with this. The entire Nexus 5 launch with Google play was a fiasco. Representatives were not trained, nobody knew how to order a SIM card, and to this day Sprint is also unable to recognize the handset attached to my account. Maybe there is a technical hurdle within the system that prevents this but i am more apt to believe that someone at Sprint is dropping the ball and not following through to make these things work as it should. We should be able to activate a t-mobile nexus5 on our accounts, the Sprint website should recognize our Phones, and we should be able to change optional services. I'm guessing the only reason why we can't is because whomever is in charge of these things is not doing there job.
  4. would be nice if we could donate through Bitcoin. Less fees than paypal too I think. https://coinbase.com/merchants
  5. Pretty sure it is handled differently. When I was playing around with running my own voip gateway, I noticed increased latency when using Google voice integration vs when not.

    LG G2 Users Thread!

Most likely you'll only be prompted if you open a non stock messaging app. Otherwise it will just assume stock messaging. Kind of like what happens when you open a browser on your computer that's not the default... It will often prompt you asking for you to change it to the default. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    LG G2 Users Thread!

I'd be shocked if they removed the lg messaging app. You'll most likely just have the option to set either as your default. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  8. FWIW, HP printer plugin seems to allow printing to various printers, not just HP. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. Fwiw, I've set my phone with b41 as priority 1, rest as 0 and haven't connected yet to b41. It's possible we will have to wait for an update.. I'm in a spark city and it has been about two days. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  10. Thank you. For anyone without root and familiar with adb - you can read the logs by connecting your phone to your computer and using 'adb logcat' edit: My bad - saw this was already mentioned.
  11. Is signal check working for everyone else? Mines saying 'no connection' for everything but LTE. edit: nevermind - I just saw this was mentioned way back. Thanks.
  12. Yeah I tried that and then International transfers me back to Employee Services. International has a ticket open and is supposed to get back to me once they find out why Employee Services is not able to complete the request. According to the supervisor over in Employee Services its not there job and only telesales can complete the request. Telesales transfers me to International and the loop starts over. Such a mess.
  13. oowee getting this UICC card with an Employee account is almost next to impossible. I finally got someone to order one for me but its being shipped 3-5 days. Tried to get another one overnighted but can't find anyone who knows how to order one for an employee account. Phone comes tomorrow, and I'll try the store but otherwise looks like I won't have a fully functioning nexus 5 until later this week.
  14. I'm pretty sure this is the intended behavior for the time being although I'd like to be able to play videos in the background too.
  15. I've noticed the same voice degradtion in my area too since NV...even when surrounded by all completed towers. Started sometime last year I think and never got better. I'm hoping 800 will fix bring the service back to whatever it used to be once it is turned on. LTE service is rock solid tho.
  16. I'm in a launched market and also never got one of those messages so I would think it sent for a specific reason. My service was also fine before and after NV. I'd speculate that it is either sent in response to high call volume for an area complaining about service or maybe sent to customers whose upgrade eligibility is coming up whom they want to keep as a customer..maybe both...could be sent different times or different reasons.
  17. Interesting! I frequent one spot where I get less than 1Mbps speeds on a LTE connection. I always assumed the backhaul was not in place but maybe it is just low signal. Thanks!
  18. Pretty sure Sprint sites may advertise LTE regardless if the backhaul is in place or if it has not yet been accepted by Sprint. Also, someone can correct me if I am wrong but as more sites go are accepted, the general performance will increase. At my house, I noticed my speeds increase from an approximate average of 5Mbps to 15+Mbps after all three sites surrounding me were LTE accepted by Sprint.
