  1. has taking a phone to the store for diagnostic ever resolved a duplicate SMS issue? I really feel like telling the user to do that is just telling the user to waste their time.
  2. Something more might be going on...Pretty sure I'm still connecting to band 41 the majority of the time. I'll start paying more attention though.
  3. I don't have an issue with throttling but I'm not like the approach being taken. I feel carrier's need to be more transparent. They're throttling the top 3% of user's but they don't define or provide you with what usage places you in that tier, and why start at 3%, why not 2%, or even 1%? They throttled the user down .02MBPS. Wouldn't throttling the connection to 1-5Mbps be enough to manage their network while allowing the user continued use of their phone?
  4. Yep. I don't really pay much attention to speed tests that much anymore because Sprint's service pretty much has been working as I need it to. I rarely have a problem streaming music, video or browsing the web. I have also noticed I'm no longer dropping calls like I used too. I do still run speed tests but its usually because i'm stuck somewhere and bored, and I've seen everywhere from 3Mbps to 71 Mbps while connected to LTE. Unless I'm downloading a large App or something, it all works the same for me tho.
  5. Around $56.00 I think every month for 1 line, two year contract.
  6. I like the idea of Google Voice but IIRC Google Voice integration does not support HD voice and there is also additional latency (delay) introduced into your call. Those two things made me disable it.
  7. For whatever it is worth, someone at Sprint proactively sent me a message from their forums asking for details about the issue. It sounds like they have absolutely no idea yet what is causing the problem but are genuinely trying to narrow it down.
  8. Tell me about it! This phone has a serious bug with sending text messages while connected to LTE. I'm using it on 3G now unless I need fast data. There's a thread over at the Sprint message boards if you want somewhere to vent: https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/179054?start=60&tstart=0 I can't tell if they are really taking the issue seriously or not.
  9. For whatever it is worth, we weren't able to activate Google play Nexus 5's initially either last year. It took about 24 hours for Sprint to get it sorted out if I remember correctly. I'm not sure why Sprint won't white list devices that are identical to the one's they sell on request. I'm guessing they have a logical reason to not do it. Just wish we knew what it was.
  10. They did the same to my account immediately after I ordered the phone. Not that I know anything but I'm not worried about it.

  12. Looks like @SprintCare tried to say that the Nexus 6 will be offered on Sprint starting November 15th. https://twitter.com/sprintcare/status/531561125507108864 edit: looks like they backtracked on the statement.
  13. This announcement also coincided with the announcement and release of the Nexus 5 from Google. Hopefully we'll have the details once Google starts shipping.
  14. Pretty sure they would work on Sprint. Sprint just doesn't allow it.
  15. It would be nice to know. T-Mobile is communicating with people on Twitter and answering peoples questions with real answers while Sprint says they have no idea. You have to appreciate what T-Mobile is doing as they act just add excited as there users are. They are carrying only mystic blue 32 and 64. Does Sprint really not know yet when the phone will be available and/or which models they'll be carrying?
  16. I'm really hoping we will know when Sprint is planning on directly offering the phone and with which options before the preorder on the Play store go's live.
  17. The new L preview is so much nicer compared to the earlier build. Almost night and day. I'm really enjoying it now. Signal check is working perfectly as far as I can tell too.
  18. Having access to band 41 helps a ton. My triband phone is mostly connected to LTE.
  19. How do you stream your music? Some app's that stream music will download data only periodically as needed so they are not actually always using your data connection.

    LG G3

I don't think anyone is arguing the US version is not capable of charging wirelessly. It is just not capable of doing this out of the box. It needs replacement back cover that is compatible with wireless charging. The quick circle case replaces the back cover that comes with the phone and is compatible with wireless charging. Quick circle cases and replacement back covers that are compatible with wireless charging are currently not that cheap.

Probably reviewing the Korean model which has wireless charging. As others have stated, the US version does not come with wireless charging enabled. You'll have to buy a replacement back cover or a case to enable it.
