  1. The new AT&T tower in Carroll, OH is online now. Blowing away those nasty Root Metrics scores in that area now.... On to Sprint network news, while in Carroll I observed that the Sprint site still has no 8T8R hardware installed but the T-Mobile equipment on the same tower looks new. FWIW, a couple weeks ago there was a ton of fiber work going on near that site as well. Vroom Vroom for the folks in Carroll now, well some.
  2. That whole stretch of road is -90 or better, especially considering how an AT&T tower went up two years ago. I'm -83 in my house where they report -104. That's the blatant truth. When a person knows how to rig the results and flaw the data, then the test data means absolutely nothing. I want to know how Root Metrics came up with this score: When comparing Sprint to AT&T on these maps: That's all I got. Man that Sprint map looks really sick.
  3. Still a downside then until they fill in all those gaps. Those P-Cells will help a little being 1.9 only, but they need to increase macro cell development. Still though, another round of handset upgrades. You know Legere wouldn't be able to make so much fun of Sprint if Sprint would stop giving him the ammo. I love the comment about having a few hundred less stores than T-Mobile. Mis-focused their energies for making that statement. Then there's the root metrics scores. They don't mean squat when the numbers can be skewed.
  4. Only problem with using 1.9 for UL and 2.5 for DL, if you don't have the same coverage/footprint it won't work. Can't have that downstream without a usable upstream. So there would need to be intelligence that detects this and flips your device off somewhere where you have both, in such a condition. Where would that be? 800? Unless they do that with 600 if they buy it. Another long term goal and probably another round of handset upgrades. I'm starting to sound like somebody right?
  5. The one across from the animal/vet hospital sticking out of the power truss.
  6. That is 00F07Exx converting your cell ID to hex. That is a Clear band 41 site for two reasons, one I looked the site up and the other is 00F---xx sites in our market are Clear band 41 sites. Not the power tower unfortunately. Regarding the power tower, still no LTE? Can someone who lives near there grab some new pics? Something where we can count the RRH's?
  7. Looking at the NV changes map it seems they are definitely ramping down. It looks like they're working on the big trouble sites. maybe somebody will get their GMO's replaced now?
  8. Where's Lilotimz when you need him. Someone flash the L signal.
  9. Let's not and say we did. I've seen enough of Softbank. Softbank and Sprint were a good match. Very similar in planning and implementation from my viewpoint.
  10. I saw two testing SIDs, one 22429, the second 65535. Then there were the either misprogrammed SIDs or intentionally in another region SIDs I presume for them to test with bringing some sites into isolation from others. Here's the screwy thing. If there's a site in DC programmed with a 22408 SID which isn't in your market, when you connect to it your phone finds it and then jumps into the region PRL that the SID is in. Then your phone for 1900 will start searching for active SIDs from that market. This is why your phone wouldn't make a call, because your phone thought it was in the Denver market looking for Denver SIDs and finding none. The same happens if you connect to a 22429 SID site, because that SID is for Puerto Rico. This is the downside to using test PRLs. I believe the latest PRL has 800 at a higher priority. I don't remember for sure. I'm making the assumption that 22408 is Denver market. I also might have under explained what's happening. I can be more explicit if you wish. Let me know.
  11. I dunno, that smells fishy. Well take into account the loss of foliage and customer base, network performance might have increased.
  12. Hate to be negative but it looks a little false to me. The map should be cautioned with YMMV and "artist's rendering". :/
  13. That test screen doesn't offer any RSSI or cell identity info. But looking at your signal in the taskbar at -67, that seems to be your airave.
  14. Can you disable LTE and post a screen shot of the 3G signal? Whitehall is one of those areas that Sprint hasn't done anything with since the big NV push in February. There are several GMO sites there and unless you're in range of Hamilton/70 site or James Rd site or the site on Etna Rd, you are left with bad service. Even if they upgraded those GMO sites, there's a lot of ground to cover and not enough sites.
  15. I always carry an extra set of donuts to distract pursuing law enforcement. I use them like a military plane would use flares.
  16. He's a law breaker? Where's the cops? Never a cop around when you need one.
  17. Have to also keep in mind the speed test server may not have upstream bandwidth to test your downstream connection at 100.
  18. Well......on an unloaded site sure. Because Sprint is behind in capacity once a site is opened up and customers using it that may not happen unless you luck out. When band 26 went live near me i could get 30 to 40 down on one sector but a different sector 2 or 3. This was a site that had just gone live and it was already full of data gobbling customers.
  19. With a tri-band phone inside of 270 LTE worked pretty well in many places. Band 41 did make that better. Sadly the satisfaction of data users is being met but the voice customers not so much.
  20. Confusing chat with reality. Man i need a vacation!
  21. I'm pretty certain most of the Clear sites are done. Curious what you get as a speedtest. The post above yours was done at the shoe.
  22. Post a pic here from your phone. There's enough of us here that could tell you unless its on the few sprint towers that they didn't use the bottom rung. [emoji6]
