  1. I would of thought Sprint would of liked to of bought the rest of them out seeing they got Chicago, but that probably just gave them more spectrum space they wanted because Sprint probably had enough towers in that area and was beneficial just for that area and buying up the rest of them in the future would not be worth it.
  2. nice!! Now when I go to see my friend in Oil City, PA theres 800 Voice, I was shocked to see that today in the map updates because I saw that was just a GMO no 800, change of plans must be, unless that no 800 means no LTE, lol.... I remember back when I visited him in June last year it was 1XRTT, he has VM and he was so happy to see an improvement to data!
  3. I think Hesse is doing a good job and is trying the best he can considering everything that has gone on in the past before he became CEO, hes doing a h*ll of a lot better then the previous one.
  4. I am sure they have them though.... One thing with Sprint and this includes stores they just dont have the small "road side" stores like the big two have (they have stand alone stores not just in malls for example). I know its costly but its proven the more your "seen" the better chance the business will succeeded.
  5. I mentioned this a couple of days ago...... lol...............
  6. I agree it seems you can almost always see a Vzw or AT&T vehicle where ever you go at tower site or heading out some where, but I have yet to see one Sprint or T-mobile vehicle in my life!
  7. That's a little far for a Sprint store around the Rochester, NY area we have one actual Sprint owned store and 4 OR more authorized dealers, so it's not bad I live 18mins from two of them.
  8. If I have more then just myself it would be nice, but its just me, I don't have many friends/know or hardly anyone would would join me in doing Framily.
  9. No bloat ware is nice to hear, however sprint with the phones Ive had dont seem to be over loaded like ive seen with other carriers, I know it varies from phone to phone though...
  10. Sprint buying T-mobile would be a mess in my opinion, different technologies, different frequencies. It would of been a benefit if Sprint bought Cricket, Metro PCS, US Cellular and n-telos.... Although Cricket not that I think about it probably not much there, they are on in very select markets. In the future US Cellular and n-telos I would think would be a good chance they could buy them out; with out FCC and the other major carriers giving fuss about it. I guess I just dont see where why T-mobile bought Metro and AT&T bought Cricket (different technologies).... Sometimes makes me wonder what they have in mind....
  11. They are good for what I do, at work I force my phone to CDMA only the LTE is too weak, tower is pretty far. At home the tower is .30miles from my place and LTE is great inside.
  12. I get usually 2.45 down and .90 up and its been that way since NV complete....
  13. Around here I have not really noticed a big difference between a NV complete only and one with the back haul LTE live, the 3G performance has been basically the same.... Maybe its just where I live...
  14. Thank you for the clarification, because I had thought Samsumg markets went on in clusters (more then one at a time). That may of been NV 3G I am thinking... lol
  15. I am sure there is some reason behind it.... Also we still have just one no NV complete that is a BUF switch (that still boggles my mind why it is..... Henrietta (Harris building).... They must be keeping there lease agreement there or else it probably would of been deactivated by now I would think.
  16. That one carrier (T) did that they supposedly "riped up contracts" (not literally but everyone knows what I mean by that) and market it as "no more contracts" when its essentially the same dang thing! Just trying to lure people in. Not to get too far off subject but... I do like being in a contract it helps keep my credit open I am still young (24 here). Even though I got good credit from previous things still, its helps!
  17. Pretty stale news in the past week or two in Rochester, nothing new lately, we had a large amount LTE acceptances mid/late January to early February... There are still places where I go and no LTE and falls back to 3G, kinda wish now that they officially announced Rochester, NY that they would finish up what towers are going to be LTE for a while towers, (finish up this market!)
  18. Contracts are still the real money maker unfortunately, and probably wont go away for years to come.... In my opinion at least.
  19. I hate my evo it's very close to one of the worst phones I have ever owned!!!!!!
  20. Yay finally the Garden City tower has LTE! Now when I go to visit like I do every year it wont be painful speeds (well up right by the beach was 1X). The whole MB area really needs it especially during the summer time. I am glad to see MB is getting closer to being done, hopefully fully done before summer hits.
  21. I Private Messaged you
  22. Anyone know why the Lg Optimus G is not still selling at Sprint.com or at most stores? No one has answered that yet lol!
