  1. Here in New York state your lucky if you get much of anything back, so expensive here! Although the offset is it is a very nice state here in the Finger Lakes where I live. Just my opinion though.
  2. This is answered in the site, I don't remember where, but a very rough estimate if I recall.. Plus NV 1.0
  3. Interesting, Ive seen this before and this was because I was still connected to an LTE signal on a different tower but 3G on a tower closer to me, I did a reboot and it cleared up.
  4. That's about the speeds we get here in Canandaigua now that BOTH towers in the city are LTE, its working well!
  5. I would of thought the Sprint as you go would of eventually replaced both Boost and VM, but I guess not. Trying to keep the prepaid market competitive too I guess lol. As nice as prepaid is, no roaming is a bummer for most. I have one friend who lives in Western PA in between Erie and Pittsburgh and he is just in one of them areas you could say.
  6. Found another interesting LTE signal from a tower I was not expecting to see have LTE for a while, but hey Ontario county is lighting up fast too, the whole Rochester market is the fastest ive seen on here (at least for 3rd and 4th rounds for LTE) On a side note they took down the legacy antennas off one of the towers
  7. I totally agree! The NV back haul is much of an improvement!
  8. I've never had an issuse with Sprint even before NV it was SOMETIMES a little frustrating when I tried streaming music (depending on where I was). I never have had a dropped call, unless I am up near the Adirondacks. I think Sprint is very good!! I always say "keep your head up high with a positive outlook and good things will come"!
  9. I totally agree there are some markets just barley have any NV complete, some may have all NV complete but no LTE started at all... "Elite! I like that!
  10. Nice!! I knew Rochester area was a good place to live minus the expensive New York state to live in...
  11. Yay finally the north end of Canandaigua Tower 4G LTE THIS MORNING!!!!!!! It was soo nice to wake up to that this morning!! I will map on Sensorly! Finally ALL of Canandaigua city covered!
  12. NICE!!!! I am glad to hear!! Hopefully Rochester is next for an "Official Sprint launch city"! (My guess is it very well could be at this point)! (Syracuse a close 2nd) I know I can't say too much in the public forums...
  13. Depends on the location, plus other determinants ex:buildings, other tower locations.
  14. I don't know about that, Tmobile had a long ways to go there 2G (EGDE) is far more then any other carrier that I am aware of, at least Sprint has 3G where ever I go and for what I do its plenty, yes it can be a little slow but not bad.
  15. Same goes for here in Canandaigua The downtown tower is LTE but not the uptown one. The uptown tower has bigger coverage, the downtown tower is right near Canandaigua lake. Sucks only half of Canandaigua city is LTE. Soon thought I am sure! I am still trying to figure out if its TWC or Frontier as there back haul, I have feeling Frontier is not likely but I cant think of any other provider out this way that would make sense.
  16. Every carrier has a different roll out schedule by market... Sprint needs back haul in order to operate LTE correctly... (For example AT&T did Buffalo first before Rochester/Syracuse). I personally think 3G on Sprint on the 3G NV upgraded does just fine for my streaming music, streaming videos (I don't care about HD on my phone thats what my TV at home is for or the laptop, and everything I do on a day to say basis. Yes LTE is nice and noticeably faster, but its not a necessity per say.
  17. Same here for Canandigua they got HALF of the city 4G LTE and the rest 3G NV especially for canandigua being a small city so to speak it switches between the two towers a lot, and I am not the only one that has noticed that, mainly because the tower downtown by the lake doesn't cover as much as the one uptown on the hill. The tower Downtown is 4G LTE and the uptown tower still awaiting back haul... Kinda sucks, but I hope its soon that way its consistent coverage. Its like why leave HALF of the city half this half that.. lol Progress is good though!!!
  18. Around here is the norm, V has the most, AT&T is right behind, Sprint has one corperate, and 6 authorized, T-mobile is only in one location that I am aware of... (Rochester, NY/area)
  19. Robert can correct me but I think they are site locations but NOT NV 3g and/or 4G accepted...
  20. How about the Rochester, NY market with 800?
