  1. Do they actually use that spectrum there? Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
  2. My little brother had his power button stop working and we filed a claim to have it replaced. He got the same phone (nexus s).
  3. Welcome to S4GRU! I am also from Tulsa and have been trolling around here for a while. I hope you stick around!

  7. this is key. I've broken many an HTC and only one samsung. The galaxy S series may look and feel cheap but they're tough as nails.
  8. interesting tidbit 1Peak speeds may not apply to all markets. Actual speeds may vary. So they may be deploying 3x3 in places?
  9. 1 US Cellular EVDO in the hand is worth approximately 8 Sprint EVDOs in the other.
  10. It could be worse. Cox billed me two $30 service charges for both of the times I called about my service being slow / shutting down.
  11. That depends on outside signal strength and arrangement. However your best bet is to contact your local Wilson reseller.
  12. Absolutely, I wouldn't have a signal at my cabin otherwise. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2

  15. my best guess would be the one on the left (if it hasn't had Network vision) due to the smaller PCS antenna panels. Cellular and SMR are the larger panels which post-NV Sprint, AT&T, Verizon and other towers have.
  16. It does when its connected to HSPA Apple does tend to think different. XD Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
  17. Unless things have changed recently, iPad 3's say LTE when connected to LTE and 4G when connected to HSPA. Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
  18. In soviet S4GRU, trolls do something about you! Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
  19. So let me preface this with a disclaimer that I do not endorse the brand of fraud that threads like this generally bring out. I have cracked my phone (a while ago) in a real accident and have every intention of mailing the cracked phone to asurion, rather than report it stolen and sell it for parts or port it to cricket as many defrauders do. I have been wondering if I could possibly get my Nexus S 4G replaced with a G-Nex so as to avoid having to use my upgrade on a 1900 LTE only phone. Have any of you received a replacement from Asurion that was an "upgrade" from what you had? For example, an Evo 3D for an Evo OG?
  20. This is one area where I really think Clearwire could give Sprint a huge leg up on the competition.
  21. I get EDGE like speeds in many areas and about double that in most. It's enough to stream pandora, check the news, post here and other things. Would I like to have faster speeds to be able to stream video? Absolutely! However, with Sprint's revolutionary family plans which include shared Unlimited Data, they can't be beat for my family. We are a six person family that all wanted smart phones and a bill that wasn't sky high, so for us Sprint is the ONLY option (save US Cellular but we had a bad customer service experience with them). This pretty much sums up how my Sprint data experience is right now though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCeGCSvueM8&feature=related
