I honestly do not care about CSIM hot swapping. I would rather each of my devices have its own SIM. Making the swap online from my Sprint.com account takes all of three minutes. No big deal. No SIM removal tool or tiny 4FF nano SIM involved. AJ

Google Nexus 6P by Huawei (was [Rumor] Huawei Nexus phone?)

I do not trust the Red Chinese any further than I can throw them. And while they are tiny people -- Yao Ming excepted -- I really should not be throwing billions of people with my bum ankle. AJ -

Or people who want effectively S4GRU diagnostic services need to post not only their locations but also their devices. Too many people seem to hold the idea that their wireless service should work equally well everywhere they go with any device. AJ -
Google Nexus 6P by Huawei (was [Rumor] Huawei Nexus phone?)

I figured out the reason for the ugly black window on the back. That is the Huawei and Chinese government "backdoor" engineered into the handset. AJ -
I wonder what kind of UICC/SIM card that the Nexus 5X will utilize. Certainly, it will be a 4FF nano SIM, but my guess is that it also will be running a CSIM, like the Moto X Style. Do we know if the LG G4 is running a CSIM? That is probably the clearest indicator. From the corporate Sprint Store that gave me the wrong SIM, I now have a spare USIM but not a spare CSIM. If the Google Store nee Google Play has its shit together -- but it usually does not on these device launches -- it will offer the option of a kitted SIM from the wireless provider of your choice, possibly for a small extra charge. It is the Harvey Dent of smartphones. AJ -
Nope. If they had, you would know about them. We (I, as the tech editor) would be working feverishly to write up an article on The Wall. In the meantime, we could not keep the release of the FCC OET authorization upload a secret. We or somebody else would spill the beans. It is plausible. But we probably will not know anything for certain until the reveal event. I think Google is taking a page from Apple on this one, so the FCC OET authorizations and model numbers will not be unleashed until the day of the announcement. AJ

Mothers would have to shield the eyes of their small children if you carried around that horrific looking thing. AJ

Last? That typically would be T-Mobile. Sprint was not the last to deploy LTE, WiMAX, or "3G," etc. AJ

That is not "GSM" voice quality. It varies from AMR-HR to AMR-WB. You are making a determination based off of a limited sample size. Plus, you call it "GSM." AJ

Probably to stoke their own egos and justify their ridiculous compensation packages, CEOs, politicians, university leaders, athletic directors, etc., have to make their marks on their domains. Maintaining and fostering the reasonable, even highly successful status quo is not enough. AJ

Yes, it exists. Blue Ball is on US 322, just northeast of New Holland. The running joke goes something along the lines of "Before you reach Intercourse, you can go right to Paradise or left to Blue Ball." Bird in Hand is also ripe for jokes. I guess if you do not find your way to Intercourse but do not want to end up in Blue Ball, you might have to take matters into your own hand. AJ
