  1. Wait a second... I currently receive an Employee Discount Sprint -20% on my bill every month. Does that mean registering for this AA program would eliminate that?
  2. I plan to order an LG G4 from Best Buy (cheapest price) in April. Any pros or cons the two choices available? Black Leather vs Deep Blue
  3. For a smaller screen size, some of LG G5's dimensions are still bigger than the LG G4, which is disappointing. I will make the incremental upgrade from LG G3 to the LG G4 this April and see what the LG G6 brings next year.
  4. I will be in Jersey City next week. Hope to see an improvement from two weeks ago.
  5. Sprint has reached a point where they are just trying to keep up with the high interest charges, not even reducing the principal (spent $2 billion in interest payments last year on $32+ billion of debt).
  6. T-Mobile earned almost $300 million in profit last quarter, more than doubling expectations. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/john-legere-t-mobile-took-108-industrys-postpaid-phone-growth-last-year/2016-02-17
  7. I was displeased with the G2's persistent GPS issue, enjoyed the G3, and felt no need for a G4 upgrade. Regarding value, the initial price point is usually much cheaper than Samsung and definitely Apple, so that somewhat balances out the quick depreciation.
  8. Aside from the screen size, has there been any reports on whether the device will be smaller/lighter overall than the LG G4 or LG G3?
  9. Analyst: T-Mobile won't see 'material impact' from Sprint's latest promotions http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/analyst-t-mobile-wont-see-material-impact-sprints-latest-promotions/2016-02-16
  10. 2006 was the last year I lived in Connecticut, and I ain't going back!
  11. SoftBank announces biggest ever share buyback http://www.ft.com/fastft/2016/02/15/softbank-announces-biggest-ever-share-buyback/ Hopefully, we see some benefit accrue to Sprint shares.
  12. The 2012 cancellation of the spectrum hosting / network sharing deal between Sprint and LightSquared was quite disappointing. It would have brought Sprint at least $15 billion in revenue. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-nextel-and-lightsquared-announce-spectrum-hosting-and-network-services-agreement.htm However, LightSquared has recently emerged from bankruptcy and GPS fights as Ligado networks. They still have the L-band spectrum. Is there technically still a possibility of a new deal with Sprint? http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/lightsquared-rebrands-ligado-networks-spectrum-plans-remain-cloudy/2016-02-09
  13. The market is not down 8% like Sprint is.
  14. I just traipsed through Secaucus, Manhattan, and Brooklyn the past 24 hours. LTE was usable, but needs to be smoother and faster.
  15. News still holding Sprint back is continued credit ratings cuts for its debt. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-02/sprint-s-credit-rating-cut-by-s-p-amid-intense-competition
  16. LG G5 announcement/reveal will be Feb 21 followed by sale in March? http://www.ibtimes.com/lg-g5-new-design-has-been-revealed-through-3d-renders-2287890 I want the phone to be thinner and/or lighter than the G3 with a similar-size screen.
  17. Just returned from my Dallas trip. I found data reliability and speeds to be mediocre (compared to LTE Plus coverage I am used to in DC + Indianapolis).
  18. Better that Son spent (invested) that $5.5 million+ in Kansas than keeping it under his mattress in Japan. More money coming in from the rest of the world = making America great again.
  19. Premarket trading has Sprint shares back above $3 as of this post. Let's see if this positive earnings reports drives out many of the short sellers.
  20. Sprint is first experimenting with its Boost Mobile brand. Customers will have the option of getting $5 off their wireless bill in exchange for a full-screen ad when they unlock their smartphone. They can opt in or opt out at any time. http://on.wsj.com/1VmIot2
  21. Sprint job cuts reach 2,500; mostly in customer care centers http://www.kansascity.com/news/business/technology/article56460183.html
  22. How are things now? I shall being traveling to Dallas tomorrow for the first time, specifically Addison.
