  1. Sprint offers $200 more to users who switch back from Verizon, AT&T or T-Mobile http://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/report-sprint-offers-200-more-to-users-who-switch-back
  2. Sensorly was great to use back in 2012-2013 when LTE was still a novelty being rolled out for us to discover, but now I just expect LTE to be everywhere.
  3. FCC Streamlines 5G Small Test Site Deployment Rules http://www.androidheadlines.com/2016/08/fcc-streamlines-5g-small-test-site-deployment-rules.html
  4. Will the 50% discount offer for Sprint still be available for the new iPhone release this fall?
  5. I have now bought another listing with a device manufacture date of April 2016.
  6. Shenandoah Telecommunications Co 2016 Q2 - Results - Earnings Call Slides http://seekingalpha.com/article/3996367-shenandoah-telecommunications-co-2016-q2-results-earnings-call-slides At least 299 additional sites will be upgraded.
  7. Shenandoah Telecommunications and US Cellular both reported quarterly results today. SHEN down 9% and USM up 4%. http://globenewswire.com/news-release/2016/08/05/862036/0/en/Shenandoah-Telecommunications-Company-Reports-Second-Quarter-2016-Revenue-of-130-3-Million.html http://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/16/08/8312151/investors-happy-with-u-s-cellular-q2-beat
  8. LG G4 still going strong for people? I am considering buying a new one from eBay and handing my LG G3 down to my father. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LG-G4-LS991-4G-LTE-Sprint-4G-LTE-Android-Smartphone-32GB-Deep-Blue-/291763136962
  9. Sprint's Claure out-earned CEOs of Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile in 2015 $27 million http://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/sprint-s-claure-out-earns-ceos-verizon-at-t-and-t-mobile
  10. I have been watching United States Cellular Corp (USM) as a possible stock purchase. They report their quarterly results this Friday morning. Are they a good target? Their stock price has unfortunately already gone up over 10% since two months ago, so I might have missed the bottom. https://www.google.com/finance?q=NYSE%3AUSM
  11. Claure contractually will be awarded $80 million if he gets Sprint's stock price to $8 before May 31, 2019. It has to on average stay above $8 for a 150-day period. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-extends-claures-contract-until-2019-will-give-him-10m-shares-if-he-g/2015-08-12 IMHO, considering he gets five years to do it, the contract goal should have been at least $10 a share.
  12. The downside risk is the question of whether Sprint's new gains can be accelerated, let alone be sustained. They are highly dependent on financial engineering to maintain their massive debt load and deep discounting to add/keep postpaid customers (while prepaid are fleeing/converting).
  13. How far am I from Honored Premier Status.
  14. I just sold off a bunch more shares at $5.90 Almost half my stock brokerage account is cash now; no idea what to do with it in today's record high priced markets.
  15. I have tens of thousands of dollars in Sprint shares at the $2-$3 range from this past year and tens of thousands of dollars in Sprint shares at the $6-$7 range. Altogether too large a part of my portfolio (and dead weight for a long time), so keep the cheap cost basis and offload the expensive end.
  16. I just sold off a chunk of shares at break even $5.56 that I first bought in October 2014. $6 is the next point where I can sell off another chunk to break even.
  17. Sprint quietly testing unlimited data starting at $60 a month http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/sprint-quietly-testing-unlimited-data-starting-60-month/2016-07-22
  18. Marcelo had a net worth of almost $1 billion as of 2014. That $25 million was pocket change to him.
  19. Let's see how the stock market reacts today. Aurora's departure and SoftBank's recent asset sales had given hope to Sprint shareholders about more help on the way. That assumption may now be false.
  20. ^to put in American dollar terms: SoftBank will buy U.K.-based chip designer ARM Holdings in an all-cash deal valued at more than $32 billion. http://on.wsj.com/2a2ru6G
  21. Sprint back above $5. No clear catalyst for this run-up the past few weeks. Trading volume looks normal.
  22. 2G roaming in Australia provided the bare usability as expected. Good. Better than nothing! I did buy the $25 7-day 200MB of 3G data, though, because I needed to use Uber to go on a date with a visiting New Zealand woman.
  23. Sprint stock price has remained surprisingly resilient the past two days compared to the sharp declined in the rest of the market.
