  1. There is some network stress in Las Vegas, Nevada but on a strange side-note, upload speeds have started exceeding 1.5 Mbps. If i could post a pic I would.

  2.

http://www.amazon.com/Parachute-Military-7-Strand-Camping-Survival/dp/B001B6LFLU that costs less than 1 month of insurance' date=' and you can tie the phone to your belt loop. You could even make it just short enough to stop the fall before it hits the floor.

I won't tell you what we call that in the military though... oh ok (dummy cord) lol[/quote']

However, that doesn't stop someone from robbing you right in your home.

  3. If you don't do much to your phone, then you don't really need the insurance. Even as much as hacking as I do on Android, I haven't bricked a phone yet. To be honest, if the deductibles are also increasing as well to $150 - $200 then I mind as well find a used phone on craigslist for cheaper. I only plan to use the phone for 2 years anyways because new ones will be far superior than my current phone.

It was a good thing I had my insurance last year, but I hope to never have my phone stolen ever again, or lose it for that matter.

  4. The antenna I have now shows the following support:

    Compatibility:

    700-800 / 824-894 / 880-960 / 1850-1990mhz frequencies - 1xRTT (Sprint/Verizon 2G), EVDO/EVDO Rev-A (Sprint/Verizon 3G), LTE (Verizon/AT&T 4G), EDGE (AT&T/T-Mobile 2G), HSPA (AT&T 3G), HSPA+ (AT&T "4G"). T-Mobile 3G and 4G only where 1900mhz is being used (T-Mobile also uses the 1700mhz and 2100mhz bands in some areas; this antenna will NOT help in those cases). Does NOT work for Sprint 4G WiMAX.

But at this point, none of the antennas at 3gstore (where I got it) list Sprint LTE as being supported.

When the time arrives, I'll see if I need a new one or not... or perhaps a better one. And that time can't come soon enough.

    :)

You probably will need a new one once NV is finished because that one will be obsolete, lol. I hate how fast technology becomes obsolete.

  5. Thanks guys. Looking forward to the article Robert.

While the hotspot is nice, I like the USB card because I have an external antenna to improve my signal at home. Then I have the USB card plugged into a Cradlepoint router so I have wi-fi in the house.

Nice little setup. However, do you think your external antenna equipment is compatible with PCS G-Block? I'm not familiar with the in's and out's of those antennas.

  6. I hope to see Windows Phone take off. I really liked how stable it was. Which for me, that's a big improvement over Windows Mobile 6.5. It was so full of bugs is was nothing but trouble at times. And this is coming from a Windows hater due to all the issues I ever had with Windows over the years.

  7. Let me say this though still the thought of u saying windows phone is gonna beat android this year is not only false but damn near hysterical lol windows needs 1 more pr time 2 more Development support 3 majority of wp is non 4G iOS has number one and 2 and bout to get number 3 too so imho they are closer to toppling android than wp

You are right. Microsoft really made a bad rap for themselves with Windows Mobile, and it will take a long time for them to recover from the damage they did to themselves.

No need for language unbecoming of a Sprint fan site. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. All 3 OS's have their perks. I got to try Windows Phone once & really liked it.

  9. I don't think it will be a small upgrade being that the iphone 5 isn't to far away which we all know will be more than just a minor upgrade.

I agree. In order for Samsung to keep up with competition, they have to build a better than incremental upgrade to the GS 3.
