    That's because you are in Chicago. I have 30 to 50 ft tall trees my signal has to pass thru before it gets to me from the tower. It makes for really bad service on this VIA chipset. My Viper did better in terms of signal interference. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Forum Runner

    If Sprint isn't starting NV2.0 until 4Q, then I would assume the next iPhone this year and most of the Spring phone releases won't have LTE800 support. Oh well, just longer waiting time.

    800 LTE has not been deployed, and won't be until after Nextel is taken down. But yes, later this year, 800 SMR will be hosting CDMA 1x voice, and LTE.

    I'm going to tell you that HOA's are nothing when you are modifying antenna setups. Most of the problems are engineering and city & county commissioners who like to make a stink about the smallest things. For new towers, that could definitely be a problem, but I guess in some cities, even modifications could run into the same issues. I know AT&T had problems in SFO when they started the 3G rollout because the older community went crazy thinking their brains would fry because of cell phones, and that delay was 6 months to a year.

    That's the Upper and lower Central Valleys and the San Francisco markets! That includes Visalia! Sounds like work is going to start soon! I'm getting excited!

    Mophie is the greatest. I bought one for my iPhone 3Gs, and it still works to this day. I gave it to my friend, and it help keeps her 3Gs from running out of juice for over half a day, and she's on the phone quite a bit of the day.
