  1. That 1900LTE could be band 2, which is standard PCS.
  2. It's ok. I travel a lot so I go through areas of roaming. The job-site I'm working at right now is a terrible spot for Sprint service, and I jump from Native to Roaming on Cricket all the time. And I think Cricket's data service is broken on that tower too.
  3. No special icon, just says extended if you don't have a custom carrier name. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Box blade Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Oil leak Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Sprint is pushing out the Jelly Bean upgrade to Android 4.1.2 starting today. Victory users, it's here!
  7. I read in the FCC docs that Simultaneous Bluetooth and Wi-Fi were not possible.
  8. Anyone on the Northwest side of town near Racel St east of Durango? The tower is visible on Al Carrison St. The permit was issued and then approved 2 days later on March 28. Pictures, please! Thanks in advance!
  9. 4 per RRU according to the FCC docs. And of course they are mix and match. So in rural areas they can deploy 1 or 2 CDMA voice carriers, 1 EVDO and 1 LTE carrier. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  10. My crappy data speeds are sufficient for Pandora, but not normal web browsing. Can't understand why iTunes Match wouldn't work. I suppose Apple streams at a higher rate. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  11. It's more about future-proofing the network ahead of time. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Ericsson is best prepared for future proofing their region for Network Vision. Remember, their maintenance contract does extend beyond the completion of Network Vision. They got smart. Samsung came along 2nd and modified theirs, and I'm sure that Alcatel Lucent can upgrade theirs as well with the C2PC. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  13. The Central Valley markets, both Upper and Lower, are supposed to start by summer based upon the original time-frame that Sprint set for Network Vision. So far, most markets have stuck to the original start times. That's where the July-August time-frame is coming from.
  14. Alcatel Lucent's is only capable of 5MHz LTE carriers at this point, and Samsung can do 5MHz & 10MHz on one after a Class 2 Permissive Change, and 5 & 10MHz on another from the original filing.
  15. I will look tonight before I go to bed. I'll be out working until 8 tonight. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  16. I sure hope they do too soon. It's exciting to see everything is ready for LTE 800. Just install a carrier card and go. I'm sure by the time they are ready to start LTE 800 deployment, they will get the 800 RRU's updated.
  17. Here you go: Original (RRUS 11 B25 was LTE only) 1st mod (Adds Dual LTE/CDMA use) 2nd mod (Adds 10Mhz & 15MHz channel bandwidth's to LTE use) 3rd mod (Adds 3MHz & 20MHz channel bandwidth's to LTE use)
  18. That's the 1st thing I thought of when I first saw it. Hopefully Sprint and Samsung won't keep us waiting too long.
  19. I forgot to Quote you on Alcatel Lucent's, but here is Samsung's: Original 1st Modification (Enables LTE) 2nd Modification (Adds support for 3MHz LTE carrier bandwidth)
  20. I found another one for 800CDMA/800LTE. Made by KMW. I'm going to assume it's AlcaLu's 800 RRU, (and I'm right because on the external photos I found AlcaLu's logo on a sticker.) Original Filing (External Photos pg 5 has the Alcatel Lucent logo on a serial number sticker) Modified Filing (Enables LTE by a software upgrade) (Cover Letter is the Class 2 permissive change authorization request)
  21. Hahaha. Picking a school based on Internet connectivity? I do that before I travel anywhere now. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  22. If I read the Class 2 Permissive Chance letter right, then yes, it would be a firmware update. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Samsung RRU's might be, but I didn't get a chance to look at the filing. I will try to look tonight when I get home from work. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  24. They were called B26A's from the original filings when they were CDMA only. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  25. I found RRUS 11 for CDMA800 re-certified for 800LTE/800CDMA mix-carrier use! https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=476932&fcc_id=TA8AKRC161287-2 and https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=640283&fcc_id=TA8AKRC161287-1
