  1. It's not quite like that. Samsung has local subcontractors doing most of the work. Samsung provides design, equipment and installation/schedule management. Samsung should be able to start in other markets with little or no impact to current markets being deployed. Robert
  2. Sales people don't actually know. The information on our site is not public knowledge or even information shared with Sales People. It comes from internal sources from within Sprint Corporate and their Network Vision OEM's and subcontractors. If it could be deployed faster, it would. They are starting with LA County first and then moving over to Orange County next. Robert
  3. Virtually all sites. Over 99.9%. And most of the sites that won't have LTE deployed on it will have LTE coverage from a nearby site. I just went and looked at the schedule, and Wabash does have two Sprint sites slated to get LTE. In our Sponsors sections of our sites, we show maps of all the Sprint Network Vision/LTE Sites. And our Premier Sponsors have access to schedule maps. For more information about how to Sponsor S4GRU, you can go to this link: http://s4gru.com/ind...come-a-sponsor/ Robert

The only dead pixel I have seen so far in a tablet/smartphone device was in my son's old HTC Hero. However, I come across them all the time in computer monitor and laptop screens. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  7. Try using the side of your hand from pinky finger all the way down to your wrist. I just tried that and it worked like a champ! Robert
  8. Use as much palm as possible, wipe from left to right, edge to edge. Robert
  9. This is true. But Samsung is starting to move toward Second Round markets now. Robert
  10. If you have time to go around the major arterial roads and highways, especially in Western Santa Clara County and take notice of where you get a 4G LTE signal and plot down the findings on a map, that would be fantastic. Robert
  11. Hopefully it will start on time. I'm hearing buzz about Samsung mobilizations. I'm getting optimistic again. Robert
  12. If some of you South Bay members want to plot some signal areas for us, I would be happy to write an article about this. Very exciting stuff. Robert
  13. Riverside/San Bernardino has 555 sites, Ft. Wayne/South Bend has 191 sites. More sites, more time to deploy. Robert

  16. Not anything I'm going to worry about. I have had my Visa Debit Card number stolen three times in 10 years. I just call my credit union and fill out a report over the phone and the funds are back in my account the next day. I figure GW will be safer than my Visa Debit Card where used, because now the merchant will never see my card or it's number. It's always been employees of merchants who have stolen my card number in the past. Robert
  17. I have an article planned regarding the West Kentucky market soon. Stay tuned. Robert
  18. Does anyone know that range of the LTE signal form the tower? Field analysis would be required to identify. Downtilt varies from site to site, and sector to sector within the same site. Is there a map of the LTE towers that are on and still blocked? Supposedly no site is being blocked any longer in launched markets. Sites should be coming live now as they are completed. There are many blocked sites still though in unlaunched markets. Is there a schedule of those towers being unblocked and or turned on? We have very detailed schedules in our Premier Sponsor sections of our site for the Round One and Round Two markets. Robert

  20. I do believe Sprint's overly optimistic coverage maps did not help things. Robert
