  1. There are. There are much more traffic on arterial streets and freeways, thus more Sprint LTE customers and more Sensorly app users. Robert
  2. The deployment order is less Sprint being choosy, but more about which sites are ready and able for upgrade. Is the upgraded backhaul ready? Is the equipment delivered and ready for install? Is the permitting from the State, County and local municipality ready? Samsung has been given both the SF Bay and South Bay markets to work on. Crews go work on the very next ready site. Not the one Sprint thinks is the niftiest. Robert
  3. I have unpinned this topic, and will be closing it soon. It is no longer really relevant. Robert

    Hello

I miss that show. I was the only person I knew that watched it. When I subjected my friends to it, they all looked at me as if they had just watched me murder someone, and then they would never come over anymore. I loved that show! Robert

    Hello

    Welcome! Robert
  6. Either Sprint is blocking LTE connections, which happens, or there is an issue with your device. Have you made sure your GS3 is in CDMA/LTE mode? Have you tried cycling through airplane mode to force your device to scan for LTE? Have you been able to connect to LTE in other areas? If you can connect in other areas, but not the site, then Sprint isn't allowing connections. There are several places where this has occurred. There were several sites in Kansas (around Newton and Wichita) that Sprint didn't allow connections to for weeks even after all the sites around them went live, showed up on coverage maps and the area was formally launched. 7. Take a look at this map on the Sensorly website: http://sensorly.com/fullscreen/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint#q=aurora,illinois If the route you took includes purple, then you were in LTE coverage. Sometimes to get it to connect to LTE the first time, you have to cycle through airplane mode. This will cause your device to force scan for LTE. Also make sure you are in CDMA/LTE mode. If this still does not work when you are in the purple areas (especially the darker purple areas), then there is a problem with your device. Robert
  8. I would threaten to leave. Retentions will give you an Airave for free. Robert
  9. The Galaxy Nexus had no problems connecting to LTE with a foreign PRL. Only my GS3 had problems. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  10. All you Charloteers (whatever the denonym is for Charlotte) need to run Sensorly when you find LTE signals. Let us go along with you for the ride. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner

  12. They may retire debt. However, I think SoftBank has a very specific idea in mind for Sprint with that money. And I would be surprised if SoftBank is focusing on Sprint debt before they take it over. This is liquid cash that Dan Hesse needs to do something with. An acquisition? Maybe. Network Vision acceleration? Maybe. Maybe even something else. But debt payments doesn't seem likely, as Sprint has all their payments worked into their cash flow for this year already figured. SoftBank hasn't even wrested control of Sprint and have regulatory approval yet. For them to be loaning money to Sprint in advance, it must be something very important to Mr. Son in the short term. Huh? Clear ?

The point though is that there is no Clear device for sale that anyone can buy now that supports Clear WiMax and Clear LTE. There is no device in America right now that is for sale that runs on Clear's LTE network at all. We had the same issue when Sprint LTE started to release where there was lots of misinformation that Sprint WiMax devices would have a software OTA to run on Sprint LTE. I battled that nonsense daily. There is currently only a hotspot and soon a USB device that Sprint has that will run Sprint LTE and Clear WiMax. But nothing runs on Clear LTE. And also currently, no Clear devices run on Sprint LTE. And furthermore, if you buy a WiMax device right now from Clear, it will not run on Clear LTE that comes out next year. That would require a device upgrade later. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
  16. There is already a little Sprint LTE service now in the Framingham area. Service will continue to grow, site by site, over the next few months. And we track each site deployed over in our Sponsor section. Welcome to S4GRU. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
