Here in Florida, AT&T has quadruple play bundles and also does bundles with DirecTv to offer AT&T wireless discounts and DSL/DirecTv packages. If they did become one company, I would have to believe that bundling is going to be a big part of DirecTv subscription models in the future.

Sounds like Charlie Ergen's day just got ruined. Cant outbid ATT just like he cant outbid Softbank. Poor guy.

I'm sure the FCC will overnight their "Approved" rubber stamp to Dallas so that AT&T can use it on the merger documents themselves. No need for oversight or discussion like that nasty Sprint company deserves for wanting to buy T-Mobile. No sir.

Verizon also offers bundles with DSL and POTS plus Directv, too.  

 

Why do all these ginormous companies want to continue becoming more ginormous?!  It sickens me.

I have a pseudo-bundle with DirecTV as well. That'll kinda affect me in a not-so-pleasant way...
