It reports b41 if ur on a Sprint tower signal, it doesnt, at least for me, if ur on a clearwire b41 signal.

That's probably why mine wasn't showing B41 despite my ridiculous speeds in STL as those are all conversion sites at this point.

Anyone get into engineering mode and see if they're connected to 310-490? That's Clear's MCC-MNC. That shows that you're on a converted B41 site that was initially installed by Clearwire.

In Chicago (and I think Minneapolis) the Clear B41 MCC-MNC is 311-870.

I just recently updated from the GS3 to the GS5.  No issues here so far.

I haven't gotten any B41 but I have had plenty of B26 fringe and b25 fringe both are about equal for the signal I get.

Popped my cherry. Yay...BUT, I had no Internet access through B41 and had to go to LTE only mode to even access it.

So I have been using ART since the wifi calling update. It finally gave me trouble a few minutes ago to the point I had to pull the battery. Even then it would start up and freeze once hitting the home screen. Pulled it about 6 more times before I got the "android is updating" screen which reverted back to dalvik on its own.

Anyone have issues with the youtube app. Eventually the video freezes but audio continues. I tried removing the updates/clear the app and nothing.

Yep, randomly stops (video) but audio is fine. Don't know if it's a glitch or something with the app on S5's.

It happens on my Note 3 as well. I don't know if it's all devices or just Samsung in particular. It never happened on my M8.

I've had this issue too.  I've also had issues with Youtube videos playing in the Chrome Browser (like embedded) causing my phone to reboot.  I think these have to be Google issues and not really S5 issues exactly.

There is a fix, don't get a Samsung;). On a serious note, which version of YouTube are you guys running? Mines 5.7.41 and I've never had the issues you guys are having which suggest it's not Google's problem.

I believe the YouTube issue may be caused by the RSTP server Sprint uses. Blank it out in ##DATA# under Multimedia and that should help

Use this SPCUtility apk. Can't find the original source link at this moment for credit. Worked for me to find the MSL without calling Sprint. This is my file and my Dropbox so it's clean/legit.

Didn't think of that one, I'm using weather bug for the radar and it works flawlessly. I'll have to test the wyff4 app one day.

Anytime you activate a phone online, you should get an email from sprint verifying the activation. In that email, you should have your MSL code listed as "Activation Code". Just an FYI

I activated my GS5 recently online and I did get an email with the "Activation Code".  I tried it in the ##DATA# screen for the MSL code and it DID work.  :-)

 

I had no idea that this was the MSL code.  I was just going to delete this email.

I purchased my phone from BestBuy and the service agreement they send gives a security lock code but that doesn't work.

Well I have about had it with wifi calling. After a minute or two on a call my wifi ends up resetting on the phone. Another case is I will not receive calls or texts which I have to disable it and reset the phone. Also there have been times leaving wifi it will not connect to the towers and needs a reset.
