Nope, the big problem now is the Ice. It's too cold for salt to work and we don't use cinders. How are the roads in Columbus, I'm heading that way in a few hours.

Really? I thought Samsung was handling Columbus? I'm cool with that though. I thought we were going to have some of the same issues that Chicago did with their conversion.

No ice problems in Columbus right now, and no snow yet. Maybe some light snow around 6-9 pm tonight. If you're coming from PA and have a Jeep, I wouldn't worry too much, though people here will freak out over nothing. I don't know how long you're in Columbus, but bad weather avoids Columbus most of the time. Most everything goes north or south of I-70.

 

Friday we should get an inch of two. But I'd keep an eye on the weather daily, it changes quickly here and the weathermen are always wrong. When they say we won't get much, we can get slammed, or vice versa.

Im picking up the ehrpd on the south side of columbus but the funny thing is my note 2 is showing it but my Iphone 5 is not. Oh well im just glad to see some type of change happening even if its small!!

The iPhone 5 won't display whether it's on ehrpd or not. No way of telling that I'm aware of. You can try going into the field test menus but I haven't seen anybody be successful that way.

My GS3 shows EHRPD north of the loop, and I don't see any way to determine that on my iPhone 4S, although I know the debug screens are a little different on the 5

You won't be able to see EHRPD on your 4s as it is only utilized for lte capable phones.

Never mind about what I originally asked. I don't think that you can see anything on iPhones about whether ehrpd is available, but if you find anything let me know.

 

Some users with Android phones have posted that they've had ehrpd as far south of Columbus as Chillicothe, IIRC.

Any word on Dayton, or are we destined to be surrounded by 4G again with nothing here? I was hoping that with Sprint rolling out to so many smaller markets first in states where they have rolled out, Dayton might be an early Ohio market.

Dayton is in the Cincinnati market. Dayton will receive Network Vision/LTE upgrades with Cincinnati, starting this Spring.
