The demographics of New Mexico only score high with chile and liquor. Otherwise, New Mexican consumers score low with all other market metrics. :(

lol Your market always seems to get the shaft.

Ben, you have obviously not visited the Albuquerque-Santa Fe market or do not share my taste in New Mexican food. While I would not want to give up the famous Crawford County fried chicken restaurants in southeastern Kansas, I would otherwise rather have Robert's access to the many great restaurants -- from roadside fare to fine dining -- in the Santa Fe area. Santa Fe really is one of the great culinary cities in this country. Fortunately, I get to live in Kansas yet spend a week or so a year at my parent's second home in Santa Fe, so I get the best of both worlds.

:)

Damn you guys are making me hungry! I get stuck with Louisiana food... ;) Guess it could be worse, my last work trips to Chicago, Baltimore, Philly, I about starved up there with the flavorless food.

No pizza for me tonight though.. have half a pizza left over from Fox's still.

Could be worse. You could live where I grew up. Only 30 minutes south to Pittsburg for fried chicken or an hour north to KC for barbecue, which I somehow neglected in my previous post.

:P

Tell me about it. In Minnesota, there are people who think black pepper is spicy. This is the land of hot dish and weak coffee. Thank goodness for Tabasco.

What? No pickled sturgeon (or something similarly nasty yet spicy)?

I use Walmart branded Lousiana hot sauce, because I eat whatever my wife buys.

Pickled herring?

I had some smoked tulipe earlier today. Not spicy though.

And btw, I use the term Tabasco in the most general sense. I prefer franks red hot over Tabasco.

It's a dry seasoning.

We have several Tony Chachere's seasonings in our pantry (Creole, Spicy and Blackening). I use them in my smoking/grilling rubs. The Pride of Opelousas!

Just ordered. Thanks for the heads up Wiley. 50% off turns out to be a really good deal even compared to their normal coupons.

Haha! I just came here to place an order, too. I'll pop open a frosty one while I wait! :)

Cheers!

I had home made McRibs tonight. Pork sirloin roast, ground up into little meat patties, Robert's dry rub, smoked over mesquite and Jack Daniel's whiskey soaked white oak chips for an hour. Slathered in spicy BBQ sauce and served on a soft hoagie. Yummers.

Well, that blows Papa Johns out of the water.. BBQ is pry my favorite food. But at 1/2 price, I think I'm going to be lazy, have a few beers and eat some pizza. :) Don't you ever notice how much better food tastes when its free or significantly discounted?? ;)

Enjoy your weekend!

    • Their offers have been crap recently, so this is just more evidence to not buy from T-Mobile.
    • T-Mobile Will Soon Prevent Early Payoff Of Phones Receiving Bill Credits If you finance a phone with T-Mobile it will remain locked until paid off but now you won't be able to pay off early. If you don't currently purchase your phones from the manufacturer here is another reason it might be a good idea.
    • Was in Red Hook again and I swear there are more Link5G sites as there are Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T small cells combined in the entire neighborhood. It seemed like every other street I turned down had one installed. Hopefully carriers will start hopping on them soon. Seems like a lot of effort to go through for no one to use them.  — — — — — T-Mobile converted the Sprint site on top of NYU Langone Brooklyn in Sunset Park. I first mapped one sector of it back in November 2023 but I thought it was a small cell so I never pinned it but I ran into another sector today which caught me off guard. I'm unable to find a permit for the conversion so it's definitely a surprise. There's another T-Mobile site 1 block away that T-Mobile initially installed back in 2019 so I'm kinda surprised they're keeping both considering the Sprint conversion is on a much taller building and could potentially provide much better coverage to the entire area.  — — — — —  Old permit for this new install expired but a new one was recently issued. It's gonna be similar to the site at 360 Forman St in Brooklyn Heights. Permit calls for only 3 antennas to be installed so I'm assuming it gonna be Band 2/41/66 and n25/41 only which is a bit of a downgrade from the now decommissioned full build that was on 871 7th Ave but in it's current state the nearest macro is a few blocks away and a small cell at Broadway and 55th is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the area so anything helps.
    • Still not seeing any ULS postings for pending T-Mobile UScellular merger in Dane county Wisconsin.
    • Came across another Crown Castle Solutions multi-tenant oDAS node in Brooklyn. Located at 40.7002286, -73.9612666. Nothing on T-Mobile or AT&T so I'm assuming these are all Verizon nodes that Crown Castle is anticipating another carrier will hop on down the line.
