What piss me off is they gave up all the company away without having any veto power in the board but hey at least they made Pink Mobile to pick the whole 36 billions of debt. This power play was designed by the Japanese banks, they made Son squeeze hard.
To add to the "what pisses me off" bandwagon, I really do not like that there isn't any break up fee from what I've seen. If the regulators from the FCC or Dept of Justice kill the merger Sprint gets nothing. Granted, Sprint will get $600 million if T-Mobile decides to not do the merger, but seriously, that's pennies compared to the $4 Billion breakup fee T-Mobile got from AT&T. And no matter what anyone tries to convince me otherwise, that $4 billion T-Mobile got from AT&T helped them quite a bit.

Nah I don't think they'll actually do that. T-Mobile's coverage is generally already better than Sprint's for LTE, and their goal is to compete with AT&T and Verizon. They will at least maintain coverage.

I honestly think this thread poll / question is a bit premature in the fact that for the merger to be successful, that implies that it is signed sealed and delivered. If historical content is any indication, that could take 1-2 (or more) years to be finalized. Especially in terms of sites operational with all bands and devices. But lets say that time is now, if the transition over to TMO and the service is good, and the quality stays the same or better, then I may stay with the new TMO. If not, then Verizon it will be.

I'm curious how this merger will affect Google's Project Fi? Aside from US Cellular, that service relies on T-Mobile and Sprint networks to work. Probably won't, but I can't help to feel that it might.
On a side note, will Paul (can you hear me now) now start making videos with T-Mobile. lol

That's true. Tmobile has a better reputation between the two brands. I wonder who will be CTO, between John Saw or Neville Ray. I'm 99.9% sure Legere will be CEO ( sorry but I don't want Marcelo as CEO).
I can see them getting rid of boost mobile since both Boost and Metro PCS target the same demographic.
sell off Boost and Metro off to Dish and have Dish become the new Sprint. lol All joking aside, yeah i agree one will go and it will probably be Boost. As for John or Saw, something tells me they will keep Neville.

Yes definitely. Get rid of both Brands create a new name and a great Public Image this way you can draw in customers by the droves.
Back in 2014, both companies agreed that the merged company would be T-Mobile, so I don't see that changing.

While reading most of the reports, it was mentioned that there will be no break up fee. Personally I feel Masa is giving the store away, but eh, it is what it is.

Interesting. I didn't know Microsoft made a Edge browser for Android. I will have to check it out.

Actually there is a tab labeled 2014 which shows anything in 2014 and starts with that April post.. The current tab was 2015 and I just renamed it as 2018-15 to account for any since then.

So let me get this straight, Robbiati was instrumental in helping Sprint cut cost and he is to be replaced by Combes who resigned at Altice because that company was losing a lot of customers. Things that make you go hmmmm.

Went shopping at Bay plaza mall today and not having that 3rd carrier in the Bronx is not really doing Sprint any favors in really high traffic locations. This was first time in a really long time that I've seen Sprint struggle in NYC.
TMobile had a very similar experience to Sprint. My sister's Verizon line on the other hand was running awesome.
It's all about location.
I go there usually once a month for the movies and I find the same thing. There are still some areas throughout the city that the signal is struggling.

This might explain what's going on at HQ at Sprint.
Maybe it's my cyber bully alarm going off, but shouldn't whoever leaked that memo, scratch off the direct office phone number for Claure?
