  1. This is true, but the OS takes up quite a bit of it leaving you with less to put in apps (much less space hogging games). That I know of you can't put apps on the sd card (Samsung did it) unless Google made an about face and is allowing it now. Of course if one is rooted then I am sure there is a rom or xpose addon that allows you to do it, but who knows if this device is going to be rooted. Most of the xda boys go for top of the line devices to root and create roms. TS
  2. Once again folks, any posts dealing with the new CEO, the Town hall meeting from yesterday or new Family Share plans need to be posted in the Marcelo Claure, Town Hall meetings and new Family Share pack discussion thread. Any posts dealing with todays' Edge Event goes here and any post about the new Sharp Aquos phone goes in this thread. Eventually these last two threads will be merged themselves. TS
  3. It has the pro version of Officesuite. nice, the only thing that bums me out is that 8GB internal memory. The camera features are cool. Decisions decisions TS
  4. I'm curious to see how soon it will be rooted. its one of the signs of how successful a device ends up being (in my book). i do agree excellent price. TS
  5. Correction, We are here to discuss Softbank - New Sprint. The plan discussion is in the other thread. TS
  6. Members: any discussions dealing with the Town Hall and or the new Plans please post in this new thread. Any other post about Softbank not dealing with the above 2 topics can continue in this thread. Thank you TS
  7. Copied over the posts from the Softbank - New Spring Discussion thread that deal with Town Hall meetings and New Plans. TS
  8. Why punished the rest of the crew when one sailor is causing a mutiny. make him walk the pink plank. TS
  9. Speaking of these plans, no where was it mentioned anything about Unlimited, folks are starting to say that Unlimited is gone if thy go for these plans. Regardless of unlimited, I really do not see how these plans are suppose to be so easy to understand when there are so many caveats and foot notes to them.
  10. Although last week, I briefly touched upon that Softbank, Brightstar could possibly expand into South America and Europe since the T-Mobile deal fell through, this article brings up an interesting point about that Hispanic market. Palomarez is the President of the U.S Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (which Claure is a member of). The article notes the is also an ex Sprint employee in marketing and sales. I can see Claure doing Spanish TV Ads.
  11. I figured that much AJ, I am responding to cletus comments. It may not be for most of us, but its good to see the mid range line up get another device for those that don't or can't go for the top of the line ones. hmmm you got a point there too. Unless you count the closeted one we send to Banlandia.
  12. Attn members: S4GRU is creating a new forum titled "Religious Food Talk" where we discuss religion, food and occasionally fried chicken. It is the forum that takes you from heaven (Sprint) to hell (T-Mobile) and back with delicious offerings inbetween, served by our very own Chef Alfredo Johannes de la Rue and food critic Robetus de La Borg. Sponsored by Devils Ham and Spam. TS
  13. Same thing as those Retina display, proclaiming super dooper resolution (that the human eye can't detect or tell the difference). You make a very good point in that last line in terms of which is more preferable. As for arousig the e-penis, what if its a women?
  14. Well, not everyone looks to get, wants to buy or have the funds to buy a top of the line, latest handset. Which is why there is low, mid and high end levels of smartphones to be sold. This device will fill in nicely in the mid range category. TS
  15. Amen. lol Paraphrasing from Raiders of the lost ark: "an Army (carrier) that carries the sp ark before them is... invincible" TS
  16. Its not 6Pm yet (although it is over in most of Europe.)
  17. I thought it was a 1:3 (Father, son, holy ghost type of thing) TS
  18. Whos' local time the question now becomes. My thinking as well. Close stores in NYC at 6PM, it is still 2PM LA. Which means that someone leaks the info NY Time and the others will know before the door even closes for training. (I'm not even counting Hawaii in this scenario which is another 6 hour difference). TS
  19. I wouldn't mind seeing an Asus cdma/LTE device on Sprint also. Anyway, this one is nice I have to admit. I'm curious to see the hands on reviews of it.
  20. Which is why I hate Tapatalk. The only good thing about it is that it reduces the screenshots to a small size, unlike what shows up on a desktop (godzilla size). Other than that, its a pain. Anyway, let me get back on topic. so... going back a few threads/pages, I don't recall anyone answering the question about "if the Sprint stores are closing at lets say 7PM, does that mean in each timezone or 7 Eastern, 8 Central, 9 Mountian, 10 Pacific." TS
  21. I don't doubt that, didn't Sprint do the same on a few previous devices as well. Like increase the internal memory from (everyones else) 16GB to 32Gb.
