  1. I checked earlier today and it said I have the latest version... I know it was supposed to launch today, so I'm looking forward to it.
  2. Sprint absolutely missed out on some of the phones from this fall. Xperia Droid Turbo Galaxy Alpha (lame specs though) Moto X Hoping something that comes out this spring will be worth the jump.
  3. Has anyone experienced Hangouts crashing when you try to make a video call? Been doing it for a few days now, does it every time, video call wont work at all. Was hoping the update would fix it and it didn't.
  4. They've stated that these will be on a "limited production" so it's hard to say how available they'll be and what kind of pricing will be used.
  5. Any indications for this or just a hopeful wish?
  6. Some days the battery isn't bad and others it's horrible. Today was a bad day. 8 1/2 hours on battery, all with decent signal really, over an hour was even on airplane mode. Screen on time was less than an hour and half as you can see, and shortly after these pictures it died on me.

  8. The price point is certainly off putting, but not unexpected with the top of the line specs and size. It will leave most to using their upgrade or easy pay. I do find it interesting that they recreated the page for the N5 and pushing it along side of the new devices. Sort of like the midsize option. Looking forward to Lollipop rolling out soon!
  9. It was more than one source mentioning it, you can take what you like I assume. I don't think he'd refer to 2 storage capacity OPTIONS of the same device as "deviceS" though.
  10. another site saying tomorrow, and WITH EXPANDABLE MEMORY. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jaymcgregor/2014/10/14/nexus-9-to-launch-tomorrow-and-will-be-the-first-device-to-run-android-l/
  11. Hate that it's such a budget device with mediocre specs, because that phone is gorgeous.
  12. the leaks are growing, I'm thinking a launch is very soon like some of the rumors are stating. http://tktechnewsblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/10/wpid-october-14-2014-24542-pm-edt.jpg - supposedly an N6 next the 6+
  13. http://www.androidcentral.com/new-report-claims-nexus-6-and-9-android-l-be-revealed-wednesday --- article rumors say tomorrow launch, and possible expandable memory.
  14. I remember the other leaks mentioning that it was placed farther towards the middle to aid with one handed operation.
  15. Predicting Oct 15 release, FWIW (probably wrong) http://www.itproportal.com/2014/10/12/google-nexus-6-to-be-unveiled-next-week-costing-around-450/
  16. I just got rid of my Note 3 because I was tired of the larger size, although that phone was a beast. So I don't think I'll be picking up the Nexus at 5.9". I'll be sticking with my N5 until something jumps out at me. At this point I'm looking forward to Android L to see the improved battery life.
  17. If anyone wants to follow along at XDA I started this to see if they had any thoughts: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2902434
  18. Has anyone documented the slow scan times with another sim, from tmo or ATT? I mentioned it on XDA and they're trying to say it must be a Sprint issue.
  19. From the leaks of the Nexus 9 it looks like they may be using that soft rubber type feel again. Initially I was upset that the N5 wasn't more premium feeling, but the soft rubber and slate of glass on top grew on me.
  20. Yeah, I don't think the SD card slot will happen. 32gb/64gb options are likely.
  21. Came across this site recently and was curious what the labels mean. It seems to show each tower, and then says "x data capacity upgrades" and "x data speed upgrades". What is this referencing? https://network.sprint.com/NC/Raleigh
  22. Started having a ton of trouble at home recently with LTE and data. I'm guessing there is some work underway or a problem that hasn't been caught yet. We've gotten good LTE coverage for the last year or so, typically around -97db. B25 site. But the last couple days, my wife's S5 and my N5 are getting awful download speeds, having texts not go through, etc... I should have got the tower ID written down, but it's whatever is closest to Miami Ave and Ellis Rd in Durham. Anyone know what's going on there?
