The prices on Ebay went up after the Nexus 6 announcement. Assuming the demand for them increased after people realized that the next Nexus was going to 6". I picked mine up a couple weeks prior to the N6 announcement in new condition for $210. Now you'll be lucky to get it for $275.

Off the Lollipop topic for a question: I've picked up some b26 lately in my office where my phone would normally drop b25 and hang on to 3G. I can't get it without cycling airplane mode though. It goes, b25 to dropping to 3G. It will hold the b26 around - 113dbm. But only as long as I'm using it. If it sits idle on b26, it drops back to 3g, even if I haven't moved or the signal hasn't gotten back worse. The other problem is that once I drop from b26 down to 3G that the 3G signal is dead. It's unusable, even though it reads that it's active. Thoughts?

So far so good. Still learning how a few things work. The silent and priority certainly take a minute to figure out.

for the issue with "silent" option being removed, it seems they want you to use the new "priority" settings. From what I'm reading you have to go into the settings and decide which apps/notifications you want.

I think I'm going to make the jump today when I get home. I'll give it a day or two to figure out if I'm having battery issues and if so I'll do a factory reset or wipe cache to see if it helps.

yeah, the silent mode being removed boggles my mind. GPS could be an issue. Is it not pinpointing your location correctly and causing navigation to be off? Cause that's a big problem if GPS isn't working right. Did you get the battery draining wifi bug?

Just got the OTA notification for 5.0. Is it worth the jump considering a few of the bugs at this point?

This iphone has been the only one that has done it for me looks/design wise. However, I don't think I could ever deal with the apple/iOs system. That being said, what about the N6 turned you off?

So do those 2 cons out weight the pros for you? Or do you just prefer Android that much?

What is network load balancing doing then if it's not balancing the 3 LTE bands out among users? B25 is the most used and our handsets camp out on it the majority of the time, despite a faster, better connection with one of the other bands.

that did it, thanks! Now I'll just wait for the OTA, lol. I swear I used to be smarter with computers than this.... I think at some point over the last 5-6 years, this stuff just passed me by.

yeah, didn't work... maybe just factory reset? google play services errors and everything popping up, along with no service.

well, this didn't work out so well. I got into fastboot somehow and accidentally hit wipe cache, then panicked and shut down the phone real quick because that wasn't what I meant to hit. Upon rebooting my phone it came back on but with no service and showing no provider. It wouldn't let me get it and update prl or anything because under 'about phone' it was showing no provider/no service. someone help me get back to normal and I'll just wait for the OTA, lol

Battery life was never great on the n5. All the reports of people running developer previews of L pointed towards a 30% increase in battery life. Any time you take a big OS update, I think it takes time to get settled in. I would imagine it will improve in the next couple days.

Folks on Android Central were reporting that when they asked Google they were being told "in the coming weeks" they would get the update for N5. Thought Google changed course on that and was saying everyone would get it on 11/3?
