  1. The lease doesn't state the credit. The credit is based on your plan. If you change your plan, you lose the credit.

Yeah, that's what the rep stated, I would have to stay on the legacy plans in order to conserve the credit, which I wont as I have total of 4 phones on the same plan and very satisfied with the service.

  2. Two days ago I  activated a line under my ED1500 plan at Best Buy and they offered the leasing plan for the iPhone for 5 dollars a month with loyalty credit or the iPhone forever option running for 22 a month with a 11 dollar loyalty credit. Still have to verify in my invoice, as no where in the leasing contract it states the credit will be applied in 2 months.

I also got a 100 dollar gift card for Best Buy by activating a line under the legacy plan.

Forgot to mention that they decided to go with iPhone forever deal since you are stuck with the same phone for 24 months on the regular leasing option.

However, with the Motomaker, I'm not sure why you'd really get it from Bestbuy versus just making it yourself online?  Regardless, I'm sure that BB will have like a black and a white version with higher storage sizes.  If anything, BB and Amazon will likely offer better incentives and deals than Moto does to get you to purchase there like they do with current phones.

Definitely buying mine from Amazon, it all comes to pricing and two day shipping by being a prime subscriber. Customization is not a big deal for me, so the black option is the way to go.

  4. So if the x pure has sprint bands in it I should be able to order one straight from moto and activate it on sprint? Only thing I'd want to do is up the internal memory a bit, fancy colors don't do much for me or the different backs, my job pretty much requires a defender case.

The Moto X Pure has compatible Sprint Bands and it will only be sold directly from Motorola.com, Best Buy and Amazon.com

  5. Reporting back after my trip, very satisfied with the service. Was connected to Movistar, speeds were decent, as I was able to use Google Maps for navigation, check facebook, upload a few pics to instagram and reply to texts I received as well as sending some MMS.

My Moto X required me to go under settings and toggle GSM/UMTS to connect to the network.

No settings change under the iPhone only thing I had to do was toggle airplane mode a few times as it displayed No Service.

  6. Thanks for the response. I haven't tried the app, just getting the regular "please bare with us" runaround from Sprint forums and phone support.

I'm near Orangewood and the 57. I'm actually moving to Huntington Beach in a month, but it looks like that area is struggling as well. I actually went into roaming (near Bolsa Chica and Warner).

All towers around your area have been upgraded. Perhaps they are doing some enhancements to the towers? I mean upgraded equipment shall bring more reliable services so I dont believe your services will get worse.

Have you tried tweeting @marcicarris? she works for customer service and heard she and her team are taking care of lots of customer complaints. Try it and let me know how that goes.

  7. Anyone over near Anaheim Stadium? I'm just the other side of the 57. I've generally struggled with Sprint through much of OC, but in the past had 4G at home (would drop to 3G when going downstairs). Wasn't very fast, but was 'reliable'....though phone calls have always been poor voice quality,  regardless of where I am.

Sorry to hear about the bad service, have you reported all the issues thru the Sprint Zone App? I read on here and reddit to always submit on the App. So that might be another work around?

What exactly you located? Any cross streets?

  8. I-15 between Las Vegas and Los Angeles is okay, small drops but 1x800 helped a lot to increase coverage. LTE has yet t be deployed and I hope it happens soon.

Calling service is usable, data not so much. In Primm you can use LTE like for 4 miles then it reverts back to 3G. Usually get all app data notification while stuck in traffic in that section of the freeway.

I know theres no Verizon data on the I-15 towards Vegas, my best friend whines a bit while in the car. ATT has some LTE and then it reverts back to 4G.

@nexuss4g - I saw a DAS out front of one of the main gates. I didn't look for equipment inside the track. Did you have reliable service at the track? T-Mobile didn't, AT&T didn't, and Verizon was spotty most of the time. My Sprint hotspot wasn't charged up so I didn't get to check Sprint out.

Saw the COW in the main gate going down the escalators next to the first station of restrooms, but definitely not a Sprint COW. Service was usable for voice calls inside the track. Slugish 4G data at times depending on the concentration of the crowd. Kinetic field had good 4G data but when packed, data connectivity was lost, it would connect after a few seconds. texts would work whatsoever.

I thought I was gonna suffer since my moto x is single band 25 only, but definitely seen improvement in my Sprint service. I'm glad the network is getting better.

You are correct about ATT as my friend has a Moto X 2014 and he had no service most of the time,, as well as my other friend with an iphone 6 plus from ATT.

Outside the racetrack, parking lot and streets parallel to the air force base, service was reliable.

  10. Reporting back after 3 days in Vegas, attended EDC at Las Vegas Speedway Center, service was reliable falling back to 3G with a few hiccups, data would dissappear for a few seconds and then reconnect, was able to send facebook messages to friends, upload a pic and check instagram.  Texting and calling had no issues at all.

Noticed that the speedway has Sprint Ads in a few spots of the track and a lit up Sprint sign in one of the buildings. Anyone know of repeaters or DAS in the venue ?

Stayed at excalibur on the 7th floor, was parked on 4G at all times surfing the web with no issues.  Battery life of my Moto X seems to last longer in Vegas than when Im in Orange county and Inland Empire.
