  1. Is 25+25 CA on this phone?

I don't believe there's B25 CA, you might be referring to B41 CA?

Im not sure, perhaps on the FCC docs it will tell us if it supports CA.

  2. Compatible with Sprint according to Motos website.

    Possible BYOD?

  3. OK, I am visiting Las Vegas and am on the bridge between Excalibur and the Tropicana casino/hotels.

Outside with a band 41 signal level of -92.  Data barely works.

Do a speedtest and get less than 1 mb down and .1 up. Sometimes a speedtest craps out because of the upload being so bad.

Come-on Sprint. Quit advertising your super high speeds until you fix the embarrassments like this.

The bad part is that I could not get away from Band 41 and possibly get on band 25 or 26.  Of course, if the back-haul is not there at the site, all bands would probably be bad.  If this is congestion due to many users on the strip, then this is Sprints fault for not having the capacity there.

Sure glad VOLTE is not yet active with sites like this.  And do not even think abot hob bad the signal performs if you are not on the bridge or in one of the buildings.

Will be in Vegas this weekend and will check it out. Never had issues when visiting Vegas.

  4. So my question is 10x10 channel...is this being rolled out across LA, Orange County and San Diego. Basically the entire SoCal area ? I live in lake Elsinore CA but work in San Juan Capistrano I could really use 10x10. I'm not sure if 10x10 will improve the remote area I work at. I get decent LTE signal outside but inside my work building it's anyone's guess who gets signal or no signal mostly roam inside

I seen it in Corona, havent seen it in OC at all.

  5. Was in Portland this weekend, was able to finally experience B26 on my MXPE, having an active connection indoors was awesome but sometimes it would drop to 3G in older buildings which was no big deal. 3CA is also enabled. Compared to 2CA in Orange County and Inland Empire, data seems to be a big faster when loading sites. My friends on T-mobile were struggling with full bars on their Iphones, their instagram feed wouldn't even load.

  6. I love this phone, I've tried several others over the last year or two, but keep coming back to my Moto X. Unfortunate there has not been a Android 7 release, true.  But, it is still pretty early.  I've read reports of Moto X getting the update in a couple other countries (India was one, I think.  And, it may have been on QBKing77's website that I saw it).  Regardless, I don't think it will be much longer till we see it.

Looking forward to the 2017 Moto X!  Hopefully they keep it "pure" Android, solid specs, and reasonable price.

If the price goes up by much, I'll probably jump on the Pixel XL bandwagon.

I just hope they keep the same ergonomic design and the fingerprint sensor in the Moto dimple. Otherwise, Im keeping my MXP. Love pure android and the audio quality when recording vids.

  7. So I'm in town on business at Anaheim Convention Center and amazed at the signal strength here and speeds. I don't think I have seen 3G once since I landed last weekend.

I really think the convention center has a DAS system. Even at my hotel I'm on band B41 with full signal.

According to our interactive maps, there is a tower at the Anaheim Convention Center, perhaps that is the reason you are getting great service in this location. Glad to hear you experience is awesome.

  8. Looks like the same pattern as Columbus, OH w/ our converted Clear sites.  GCI endings look similar.  Are you a Samsung market for NV?

I believe Socal is Alcatel Lucent

That is a Nokia Mini-Macro site. Replacement for Huawei B41.

So that means no 8R8T on clearwire sites? :(

I've found some with the GCI number ending in 31, 32, etc. in Bremerton, Washington.  I assumed they were Nokia replacements of Clearwire B41.  Did not visually verify any yet.

I'll take some pics, from the street I dont see any major changes. Site is behind my office building so I can see it from the window.

  9. It's lagging all across SoCal from Lake Elsinore where I live to corona to San Diego to Orange County lol

I live in Corona and commute to OC daily, the IE and OC has greatly improved. I can say that Riverside area, Temecula  and some parts of downtown Pomona need improvement, but mostly are covered with LTE B41 now, yes a few times it rolls back to 3G but toggling airplane mode mostly will bring you back to LTE.

Spoke to an engineer who was installing some Nokia antennas in Pomona, CA off the 71. Said Sprint is really making a push to upgrade all the towers out in the IE and also install small cells because the IE is really lagging so that's a good thing
