  1. How do we know that an iphone 6/plus is making an HD call on sprint?

There's no specific way to know. You just have to hear if it is.

If you check out the debug menu under android you can check if you are on HD, Also some android phones let you know when you are in HD on the screen.

Service Option 3 is plain jane EVRC.  Then, Service Option 32768 is 13K QCELP, and Service Option 33 is packet data.  If I recall correctly, Service Option 68 is EVRC-B, while Service Option 73 is EVRC-NW (aka HD Voice).

  2. How do i verify that? How do i make them send me the 'correct' one?

Did the rep provide you with a confirmation number? If yes, go to sprint.com/myorder and enter your confirmation # it should start with DM14-

Order information will populate, check the SKU that appears and compare with the info in this thread. If it matches to the correct SIM info we provided then you are good to go.

  3. Just ordered a Nano sim card from Sprint. Only thing they asked me what Device, how many gigs was the device and that's it. No mention of a Sku #. Took all but 12 minutes because i had to get transfered to order support.

Verify that they are sending the correct SIM with the info users have provided. Sprint sent me an incorrect SIM already and another one that is on the way but still incorrect.

  4. I hate this process. I love the phone but why is this SO hard and complicated. I'm broken on spending $400+ dollars on a device that will prob wont work with Sprint! Or very hard to ...ugh

The phone will definitely work with Sprint, just the process for activating this phone and handling customers requests is not well defined.

  5. When attempting activation, did you try the leave one number off the end of the imei technique?  Just curious if that "works every time".

Yup, did leave off the last digit and when trying activating online it gave me an error message. Even chat support stated that I gave them an incorrect IMEI.

  6. Managed to get the correct SIM Card SIMGLW4446C at a Corporate Store that is 50 miles away from home as I was in Mexico for the weekend. Best Buy wanted $30 for the SIM so walked out.

Tried activating online and no luck. Called Customer service and no luck so they transferred me to Tech Support, they opened a click it ticket and the network team will be adding the IMEI to the network database. The rep stated it might take up to 24 hours and will get a call in order to verify a few more things.

  7. Quick update. Received my SIM Card an hour ago. Was unable to activate online since the IMEI is not recognized even by getting rid of the last number. On the phone with Customer Care and they state that I cannot activate because they sent me the incorrect SIM card. They are making me go to a Sprint Store to get a SIM :/, still on the line so I will update with the outcome.

  8. I got my phone now, the device is in fact very nice to hold, was hesitant due to the size of the screen but overall I'm pretty happy. The speakers are great for normal listening and the screen is gorgeous. I'm waiting for my SIm card so will update in a few hours. Actually typing this message from my moto x

  9. Delivery was attempted today, no one home to sign for it, going to try to get it at the FedEx office after work

Bummer, mine according to Amazon and USPS it was delivered in my mailbox and checked last night and nothing... I called USPS this morning and they stated to wait a few more days :S

    My SIM will arrive today.

  10. Did you try going into the settings on your iPhone, turning wifi calling back on, tapping on "Update Emergency Address", and then on the page check "Remove wifi calling" and then tap done and turn off wifi calling? If you haven't tried that, I would suggest doing that first.

Thanks, this actually solved my issue.

After removing the wifi calling service from the "update emergency address" page, you should do a ##update# to refresh everything, if it doesn't do it automatically. On the iPhone, any changes with wifi calling refreshes the device on the network automatically.

Exactly what I did, and now working fine. Thanks

  11. Hmm below is what they shipped me.  Hopefully we both got ones that will work correctly...  :(

I had the rep 100% confirm during the chat that this sim card will work for the new Moto X Pure.

    760492013512

    SIMCARD LTEGSM 4FF USIM REMOV

Seems like both have the same description. So I believe both might work.

  12. Anyone have the part number for the 4FF nano sim? The store I called has sims, but they are unsure of it is the 3FF or 4FF.

What other devices use the 4FF?

This is what  I got from the confirmation email  from Sprint when requesting the SIM

    Item number 760494000114

Item description LTEGSM REMOV 4FF CSIM V3

  13. Called the regular Sprint Care number and they transferred me to Order Support, took  them a while to research for SIM info to activate the Moto X Pure, Rep asked to call me back in 15 minutes , he called and processed the order to ship a SIM card to my place, and stated that it takes 5-6 business days, but due to being a loyal customer for 10 years, he bumped me to the 2-3 day shipping. Don't know if this is standard practice, so we will see when I receive it
