Did you get any confirmation that yours is coming? Or any other indication that you actually have a MB coming?

I received the same email, and I clicked the link but I've not gotten any indication that a MB is actually on the way. Nothing in my orders on my sprint account and nothing on my account showing a MB with a phone number.

KInda weird that it's seemed so simple, click that link and it says  MB is on the way, however it almost seems too simple and now it's been a few days with nothing showing, no more emails/calls/orders.

I got the same email and it took 3 business days to get a Order confirmation, then this Monday got a tracking for a 2nd Day Air and got it the next day. My Magic Box is up and running, seems like around my house I'm the only one connected to the MB (it was 11pm)   but will check over the weekend as I am away from the house all day.

  2. Visited Tijuana last night for work, my Pixel 2 XL connected to HSPA+ at first and later during the day I was on LTE .
Had no issues with data after crossing the border. Would say the experience was great. I would experience hiccups with data on the my previous Moto X Pure, had to either toggle airplane mode or shut off my phone for about an hour to be able to gain connectivity to 3G/HSPA+. This issue occurred multiple times while traveling to Tijuana and Mexico City. Must say that I am still on the old Sprint Open World with an ED 1500 Plan. Pretty pleased with my P2XL.

  3. Unfortunately, according to our interactive maps, there is still one tower by Disney that is not uppgraded to LTE. I'm not sure if this is correct but as of the last update it shows 3G :(

I haven't been to Disneyland in about a year but when I had an annual pass around 4 years ago. Services was unusable. But its getting better guy.

Its funny i just left Disneyland and the Sprint network in that area is horrible. During any event like world of color or fireworks it is completely unusable. Verizon was no better though. Couldn't even start a speed test on Verizon. My stay here in Orange county has made me appreciate how well Sprint performs in my home network of Portland. A few strategically placed mini macros would greatly improve the Sprint user experience at Disney.

Yes, visited Portland on February with my Moto X Pure and speeds were great. I even saw CA3 available.

Would you be allowed to get a MB for ur office?

Its possible, I lock my office after going home but facilities and cleaning crews have access. Is there a fee associated if the device is lost or stolen?  It would be nice to get B41 from the MB for all employees that work on the first floor and have Sprint :)  Our building is terrible with cell reception, Verizon and T-mobile as useless, no signal at all. ATT & Sprint work ok, must say ATT is our business partner by providing our company iphones.

B41 connects once in a while in my office from that MM Tower behind the building

  5. Well, finally joined the bandwagon after having the MXP for 2 years. Really considered the Moto X4 as I love Moto Actions and gestures but it couldn't go back to 1 speaker and smaller screen so it was time to leave Moto since Lenovo took over.

In terms of connectivity I am connected to LTE Band 25 while sitting in my office which the MXP would hardly connect to simply falling to 3G. Theres a MM Tower behind my office building, it seems B41 does not reach on the other side of my building (concrete walls building) I'm on the first floor, 2nd floor connects to B41 with no issues, unfortunately that tower is very congested. Nothing technical but all good so far.

I was on the Test Drive on Nougat all summer, using my device as Wifi only with a cracked screen.  Battery life isn't as great marshmellow, but still acceptable.  I've been using the phone as my daily driver for a week now and its preformed very well.  Only real issue I have is BT seems to break up more easily than my Nexus 6P.  I have to keep the phone on my left side if its in a pocket or the audio gets choppy.

Where you part of the Motorola Network something something? I cant recall the correct/exact name.

@nexuss4g  PLEASE let us know how Nougat goes.  The Lollipop update made my 1st Gen Moto X much less enjoyable (WiFi and BT drop outs).  I'm going to hold out as long as possible before mistakenly accepting the update.

I wonder if I should go back to the clean update that I gleamed I should do on the above mentioned Gen ! update.

I been on Nougat for 2 days now, I have not seen any issues, I really hate the new notifications bar and the settings toggle when swiping down. The phone seems a bit snappier, the old messaging app (green icon) was replaced with messages which I was already using. I will install Android for Work later during the day to put my work email and apps to see how it works, I removed it as I wanted to disconnect from work. Can't really tell about battery life as my phones battery is in really bad shape. Have to plug it in every 4 hours. Seems to me that Nougat was just a under the hood update honestly, I have not seen anything new that has wow me yet. Split screen is a nice addition. Oh and new emoji, finally get emojis from my iphone friends but really hate the new ones.  Personal opinion, the older emojis display more emotion and used to look cool, the new ones look  like apple or on the iphone.

So I've been back on the MXPE for 24 hours and I love and hate it ;)  I remember all the good things about the phone, used miracast last night for netflix, etc.  Man to I miss fingerprint auth on the Nexus 6P, typing passwords sucks.  I also miss Oreo, this thing is good with Nougat, but Oreo with the fill in API would allow Last Pass to pre-populate PWs for me.

Do you have a miracast dongle ? When I use miracast on my Moto X using the amazon stick the screen keeps on. while playing video. I switched to chromecast, the user experience is way better. Im curious on the application.

  9. Is there really LTE 800 in Irvine? I see a TOY site by John Wayne airport on the map & another site by Zion Market.

I don't know. No one has verified them yet. Check them out if you're in the area and report back. I'd love to hear confirmation.

  10. Anyone go to EDC this weekend? Wondering how coverage was there.

Coverage outside the speedway was usable on B41, Inside the venue, service was ok for texting, sometimes hit or miss, but data was lagging, connected to LTE B25 second carrier as it showed B26 on Signal Check Pro while on  Circuit Grounds but nothing would open. Also noticed that I would fall back to 3G but no data either. When data would drop, my phone would connect to 1X800. Decided to put my phone on airplane mode to conserve battery and turn it on every hour to receive texts from friends.

From my experience going to EDC the last 3 years, 2017 service was the worst. Last year was connected to LTE and was able to upload pics and get push notifications from the Insomniac app. This year, zero.

  11. Were the iPhones also on Open World?

Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Yes, all phones on my account are on Open World, 4 Iphones and 1 Moto X Pure

Unfortunately, I don't think the Moto X ever got LTE roaming support from Sprint. The Nexus/Pixel were the same way but an update solved that issue for users.

Also, are you sure that was the PLMN that you saw on LTE?? Because 334-05 belongs to Unefon, which is the prepaid arm of Iusacell, which is now owned by At&t MX. The PLMN I usually see on my Sprint iPhone down there is 334-03 (oddly enough, only Androids show the network name for Movistar, iPhones only show PLMN).

Bummer that we never got an update for roaming support, but at least I get 3G when roaming, so pretty happy about it.

I will have to double check i dont recall the correct number perhaps I made a typo, I remember that before an ios update, it would display Movistar on the screen.
