  1. I want to get hangouts to stop ringing on every computer where I'm signed into chrome. Never found a way to turn that off.
  2. People that go for the iPhone for life plan are the same people who lease a new car every 2 years.
  3. Insightful interview. http://www.cnet.com/news/t-mobile-ceo-on-passing-sprint-put-a-fork-in-it-theyre-done/
  4. I want to get their AC wifi router even though I don't have a postpaid plan. It's still worth the $100 pricetag to upgrade my old N router to an ASUS. Haven't seen any option to buy show up on their website yet.
  5. Which means you can forget walking out of a building and have handoff work, because TMO almost never has LTE coverage inside a building. It's going to be a race to see if the phone can connect to LTE when you step outside before it loses connection to wifi.
  6. No potential customer cares about NV equipment being installed or not, they care about LTE coverage or not. They don't care if the slow 3G network sucks a little less because NV equipment is installed, the bar is 'is there good 4G' coverage.'
  7. My friends on tmobile seem very satisfied with their service, even ones that switched from AT&T . One of them is a sales rep and travels all over the state. I doubt she is a heavy data user.
  8. Do they come back and optimize B25 sites at some point? We have some very strong B25 sites, and other that have such low range that they are unusable after just a few blocks. Was wondering if these will get revisited at some point ?
  9. That is what they say, but go to the Sprint site as a new customer and try to start a new Framily plan. I couldn't find any way to do it after adding a phone to the cart. Only option available was the new plan. By not going away, I'm starting they mean existing plans can stay and be joined, but you can't start a brand new one. Maybe you can in store. ? Hopefully one of our Sprint members can clarify.
  10. I don't recommend any of the major carriers, the frugal side of me almost always recommends MNVOs. They seem like a much better deal to me, at least for individuals. I should add that most people who ask me about wireless providers are low data users, because the high data users already know where they want to go. Sometimes I get asked specifically about Sprint, since they know I'm using it, and I'll tell them my experience, and what I know from this site as far as the NV buildout. One thing that I think is really undersold is the fact that Sprint can roam to Verizon. My friends who are switching wireless carriers are always amazed when I tell them this information.
  11. Here in Phoenix I find that Band 25 LTE is unusable once you get past -110dBm , where T-Mobile Band 4 works well even at -115 dBm I'm not sure if this is a 1700 vs 1900 propagation issue, or a tuning difference.
  12. Sprint says that the Framily plan is not going away, yet playing around on their shopping site, I can't find any way to start a new one. Is it not going away in terms of existing ones can stay but no new ones, or is it possible for someone to start a new plan ?
  13. A lot of us are still on SERO and this new plan won't get anyone to switch off of it. SERO is $55/mo with a subsidized phone and unlimited data. I hope it never goes away.
  14. I believe that announcing the family plan first, and then waiting to announce the individual plan was intentional so that they could judge competitors reactions and adjust..
  15. It seems like these plans are made to entice Verizon and ATT customers who are high data users. The problem is that people who are high data users on Verizon/ATT and switch to Sprint will not be happy with the network performance. Sprint needs more time to complete LTE upgrades before trying to woo away heavy data users from ATT/Verizon. There is no point in pulling over a customer that you're just going to lose. One you do that, they will likely never come back for a 2nd try.

    LG G3

I had a lot of problems with ART causing random freezes of the entire phone, and had to revert back to Dalvik..

    LG G3

So my G3 roamed to Verizon since I was in a poor coverage area which is fine. The interesting thing is that now I'm back in an area with strong Sprint coverage it's not switching back.
