I have the He on Sero. It was a minor hassle getting it from the store. Should be no problem if you order online and have it mailed.

It looks like you just need a new back cover for wifi charging. They are probably expensive at the moment, but I expect they will get cheap in a few months. I had the nexus 5, the official google wireless charger as well as the tylt. I stopped using all of them and went back to the USB cable. ? Why ? Wireless charging was so much slower, found it easier to just plug the phone in and get it charged up quick.

I don't think it's worth trading the M8 for, from what I read both are excellent phones. Coming from the Nexus 5, it seems the G3 might scan for LTE more often, I seem to jump from 3G to LTE a bit more frequently than the Nexus 5 did. I've done some tests with the Nexus 5 by forcing it to 3G, and enable LTE. It took a full 8 minutes to switch to the LTE band. I'll try to duplicate this test on the G3.

Anyone having problems getting Spotify metadata to work on their bluetooth car radio ? worked fine on the Nexus 5, but seems broken on the G3. Music plays, but no track information.

If you're not on SERO why arn't you on Framily ? Seems like a great deal.

I got a warning when ordering saying that I may have to change my plan when activating it, but I seem to remember getting this warning way back when ordering my GS3 and had no issue. I opted for the 2 year contract since I'm not planning on going anywhere.

Same here.. Seemed to work with SERO.. I'll pick it up in-store.. I'm not sure if I trust the store to activate it thought.. Wonder if they will let me walk out without activating it.

Can you buy from Best Buy if you have a SERO line that is out of contract?

Any word on the contract price? I'm planning on renewing my 2 year SERO contract.

Any idea how in store availability will be on the 18th ? I would pre-order, but I'm going to be out of town, and don't want it sitting on the porch a week like my Nexus 5 was Hoping to drop in a Sprint store while traveling and pick one up on launch day.
  12. Tempted to put a ticket in for the Rural/Ray tower. It's incredibly weak, you can only get LTE if your practically standing next to it. Even sensorly maps confirm that it's range is very limited.
  13. Nexus 5 on Sprint. Happened with previous phones as well, it's not the phone.
  14. Is the tower at 101/Chandler still having issues or is it fixed?
  15. I've had a long time intermittent problem with google voice integration. About 25-30% of call I originate have a problem, basically this: I dial a number, but instead of hearing ringing I hear my own voice echoing in my ear. The person I dialed phone rings, and if they answer, they hear nothing. I have to hang up and try the call again, sometimes 2-3 times before it works correctly. If I disable GV integration, this problem goes away completely. Anyone else seen this? On another public forum, I saw someone post about the exact same problem, but there was never a resolution posted.
  16. I'm seeing really weak output from some of the newer lte towers. A few blocks away and you lose it. Even sensorly shows that the strong signal area is only right next to the tower. Ray/rural is one example. Also ray and i10 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  17. These phones shut off before the battery actually runs completely empty. Also the battery on the N5 is so inexpensive and easy to change that I don't worry about causing it damage. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  18. Mine is in a case and I added a tempered glass screen protector. Guess I'm paranoid Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  19. May it seem like much but it's enough to keep email synced and use Google maps.. Price is right, so for free, why not enable it.
  20. They do not have my credit card into. If you hit 200mb it just stops working until the next month.
  21. So I'm traveling to a lot of these countries this summer on vacation. Should I bring a CDMA or GSM phone with me ?
  22. Is gsm the world standard or is there cdma in wide use as well? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
  23. Grooveip, google voice.. Not the same thing as having fully integrated wifi calling and SMS like T-mobile has. It's totally seamless, you don't have to change any of your habits to use it, works anywhere in the world where you have wifi. Hopefully Sprint's solution will be just as tightly integrated and available.
  24. Why have this restriction at all? This calling should be allowed to work in Africa. Why limit something useful. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
