  1. Part of your problem is you have a iphone and 800 isn't the top setting in the prl for your phone to scan for 800. I know the area your talking about and my phone had the same issue until I got my galaxy. Now I keep 800 voice though the area, not a strong signal but good enough.
  2. No issues in elgin, so not sure what is going on. Yet something like this happened in northern Wisconsin yesterday and was fixed by noon, so wonder what is going on? If they are related or what
  3. Us celluar still has spectrum in c/u and springfield. They didnt sell it all to sprint, see link http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-334-updated-sprint-uscc-spectrum-deal-sprint-gets-20-mhz-broader-in-the-city-of-broad-shoulders/. scroll down a litle and a chart shows that uscc had 40 mhz in c/u and gave only 20 of that to sprint. In springfield, uscc had 30 and only gave 20 to sprint. So they still have some pcs
  4. Because that is all people remember right now about Snookie, my buddy lives on the jersey shore and he has went into a bar where snookie was and walked right out. Even the people from jersey hate snookie lol
  5. That is probably the only good thing about getting lte right around the time when they are installing the b26 cards. Then they turn it all on
  6. He is out running around in the blanket of lte goodness, know as sprint lte
  7. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-334-updated-sprint-uscc-spectrum-deal-sprint-gets-20-mhz-broader-in-the-city-of-broad-shoulders/
  8. Sadly T-mobile 700 doesn't cover okc or even the tulsa market. T-mobile will benefit from the 800 that sprint has
  9. transfer your phone number to a google voice account, then you can still get calls and sms while traveling.
  10. Even the iphone 5s/c supports band 2 according to apples website, Honestly I would worry about this when it happens. We all know that ntelos drags there feet. I am shocked that sprint actually signed a new contract with them, I can only figure that they got a really good deal. Only because ntelos would lose so much money if they lost this contract.
  11. Welcome to s4gru, All but Georgia,Alabama and small part of Mississippi. This is all due to southern linc having 800 spectrum in that area limiting sprint to 3x3 for lte. Otherwise Sprint will have 5x5 every where else
  12. This was from 2012-UBS analyst John Hodulik wrote in a research note, arguing that Sprint might fetch around $130 million if it were to sell its WCS spectrum. Read more: Analysis: AT&T's WCS spectrum shopping spree won't catch it up to Verizon - FierceWireless http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/analysis-atts-wcs-spectrum-shopping-spree-wont-catch-it-verizon/2012-08-03#ixzz31dTbbSIY Subscribe at FierceWireless
  13. I hope they can close the deal soon, it just that much more that counts against att for the 600 auction. I am not surprised sprint is getting rid of it, not worth it when you have nationwide band 41 now
  14. I see you have the iphone 5s, you will be able to get 800 lte. Sprint is working on rolling that out in your area as we speak, That will help with the slow speeds and the 1-2 bars. I can only figure it is your apartment building(the material) that is is made, of that is not helping you get lte better coverage. Be patient and before you know it. You will have great speeds and better coverage soon
  15. check it out, it is always work looking around the app. I didn't know you have a iphone, I know you probably love your iphone. But the other phones are so much more geek friendly lol
  16. If you are in a launched area call sprint, also you can check the sprint zone app. You can do voice test on the app, see if it comes back ok. It has outage reports and everything on the app. It isn't a bad app at all
  17. Of course I have, sadly a lot of burbs aren't filled in yet. Also a lot of people don't have tri-band devices, I still have device that is just band 25 only. So band 25 is getting slower
  18. Nice spot, It is about time they finally start using the uscc spectrum . A lot of areas are slowing down in Chicago and they don't have 2600 tdd-lte turned on yet. I will have to keep a closer eye now in the areas I travel
  19. well if they put 120 of 2.5 of sprints, verizon aws and att aws/wcs will be counted as well at least
  20. VZW lte launch was a lot easier, they didn't have to put it on every tower right away due to being on 700mhz. Also verzion used a lot microwave to connect to tower or towers that did have fiber back haul.
