  1. I used to work at Sprint when the Galaxy Nexus came out and only one person inquired about it before its release. While this was a while ago, my experience is people mainly ask about iPhones and Galaxies.
  2. I'm also a SERO member, I'm right there with ericdabbs. It's super annoying to upgrade devices. Got hung up on twice when ordering the N6 because I didn't want TEP. I'll just add it next and use chat to remove it.
  3. Same. A lot more noticeable on the bottom. The icons on the top make it less noticeable to me. I've tried an app that did that and a 10 hour long youtube video that rotated colors with no luck. I have to just deal with it which isn't that big of a deal. Still give the phone 5/5 stars.
  4. This is my first AMOLED phone. I've read about burn-in but never actually saw it in person until now. Going forward, I agree about preferring LCD. I literally love everything else about the phone.
  5. Not sure if this has already been brought up but is anyone else experiencing burn-in on the top and bottom of their N6?
  6. My nexus 6 has been screwy with texting. They are delayed and often out of order. It seems like it I'm getting texts in batches. Sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes and then I get flooded with messages from multiple people all at once.
  7. I may be a 2nd device that is compatible with Project Fi... Just a speculation, correct me if I'm missing something says otherwise.
  8. Unfortunately I know what you mean. I'm in Orange County, CA and I can only stream music reliably if I'm connected to band 41. Band 25 and 3g is just awful for streaming with 3g almost unusable for any data related tasks.
  9. I would say this would be "alright" if phones still had 3.5 inch screens and were not 2K...which I would expect 4K devices to be out either later this year or next. I'd say anything lower than 720p on the current devices would look grainy or blurry.
  10. Or "unlimited everything except video." Next they will impose speed limits on music like pandora, iheartradio, google music, etc.
  11. Just use the online chat from sprint.com. Tell them you are an app developer and they will give it to you. I did that for the N5 last year.
  12. Sorry if it was mentioned earlier, I couldn't find it. Do we know the difference between D and E?
  13. I'm surprised it is this widespread. Robert reported Southern OC, I'm mid to Northern OC, and you're in LA. It really does show how important B41 is. B25 is so congested it's barely usable. On my commutes to and from school I would be constantly in and out of B41 (mainly on B41), which is great. Yesterday however, I noticed it was mainly 3g with a few B25 spots. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. I thought I was getting throttled because I looked at some forums and Sprint said the top 5% mark is around 5 gb (which I find hard to believe is that low). So I figured when they throttle they drop you down to 3g but Robert stated that is not how it is done.
  14. I would consider myself to be in Northern OC. After I posted here service started to be going up and down outside the scope of my original post. Maybe the issues are affecting a larger range.
  15. Just went Sprint gets good in Orange Country I lose LTE. I think Sprint started throttling me. My normal spots that I'm has B25 and great B41 and all of a sudden I'm stuck on 3G in those locations. I tried resetting my phone and have provisioned it again. If I cycle airplane mode it briefly connects to LTE and then drops back to 3G, which is horribly unusable. Can anyone confirm or deny my claim? My data usage 8.8 gb, which I didn't think was a lot. I stream music and use my phone for work and school (mainly emails).
  16. I just want the multiple texts and random appl closes to stop and the dialer menu to check bands.
  17. Awesome. Coverage is getting pretty good. Southern OC is looking pretty good as well.
  18. I recently noticed a huge jump in B41 in northern, mid, and parts in Newport Beach. Average speeds around 20~30 Mbps. I personally would be OK at being throttled to unlimited 20 Mbps if that meant getting that speed everywhere! Throttle for a high average per user!
  19. Yea I kind of miss that as well. For years I thought it was an android thing haha. I was wrong.
  20. I thought the Tmobile was the same, it just uses the sim to install bloat at activation that can be uninstalled by the user. It isn't baked into the OS like all the other phones on the carriers. I know the ATT version is branded and such...
  21. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this. If you are on LTE and you send a sms and it immediately says "now" for the time stamp then it was sent then it's fine. However, if you send a sms and it says "sending" for longer than it should then it will duplicate to the person you're sending it to.
