  1. I will probably switch back to my One later tonight or tomorrow. Has anyone noticed if the audio changed since the beats separation took place a few months back? Obviously hardware won't change but if the software has.
  2. I wouldn't be too concerned with ordering from customer service. Your best bet is going into Sprint owned stores, especially service and repair locations. Several of us here ordered from Sprint customer service and the orders were cancelled without any notification or warning. Many of us have luck through corporate stores.
  3. It is still snappy (personally I think it has slowed very very very little so still fast). No photosphere.
  4. My HTC has a white battery indicator after the 4.4.2 update. I'm running completely stock.
  5. It has been around for a while and personally its a kind of annoying. After the update I turned it back off. It likes to turn WiFi on even when you have it off. Example would be if you are in a Starbucks and you have LTE and you turned off WiFi to save battery. Well the optimizer is still on and senses Starbucks WiFi and fully turns it on and prompts you to to connect. We all know Starbucks WiFi isn't the best. I turned it off since I like full control when the WiFi is on or off.
  6. If you want the 32gb version. So far the 16gb version is identical to the 16gb version from Google play. Also depends if you used an upgrade or bought it flat out. In a situation where I was able to upgrade, I would buy an Iphone 5s and sell it factory sealed with the discount and then buy a model from Google play. As for out right, I believe the Google play model is a little be cheaper. EDIT. Google play has the 16gb for 349.99 and the 32gb for 399.99. If you bought it full price from Sprint for 399.99 you are better off saving 50 bucks or getting the additional 16gb for about the same price (tax difference and shipping).
  7. Here is a minor list of changes I have noticed from playing with it a little (I am no expert at these writes like some of the members here). -Blinkfeed can be turned off. -There are additional quick settings in the notification drag down when you go to modify the list (the order of individual settings can also be changed). -The UI for the widgets on the lock screen are a little different (I can't remember how they were exactly prior to the update). -The notification bar on top is transparent like on the N5 and all icons are white like the clock, battery indicator, etc. -Hangouts is integrated into and switching to the HTC messaging app or third party messaging apps is the same process as the N5. -There is a "Do not disturb" quick setting that can be added in the notification drop down that can also be set for a certain time limit and added exceptions. Again, this is a quick little update, if I have left any please feel free to add or let me know I can add it in. Hope this helps, thanks guys.
  8. Updated my one to 4.4.2. I must say I am quite happy with the subtle changes. Fixes the few complaints I had that led me to the Nexus 5. If only the one was triband...may be my next device will be the next HTC if they continue their current course of business.
  9. My bro lives in new port beach and it seems like they just keep missing the cite nearest to his pad haha. Go figure! Other than that coverage has definitely been getting a lot better in OC. Heck, during the winter break Sprint upgraded the site on my college campus which helps a lot because there are dead wifi zones outside but strong when inside. Can't wait for the Spark update for the N5
  10. Either call them for them to mail you one. Best bet is walking into a corporate store and just let them know you ordered your nexus from the play store, they should have sim cards set aside for them. That's how it went down in Socal when I activated mine. P.S. Call before making the trip. Some stores don't have their staff trained at all and are completely clueless about the situation.
  11. Given. Having pizza and beer for the football games haha!
  12. Sorry if this was already said. I don't think there is a specific way to se where the phone was purchased. That being said, the only thing I can think of is Sprint only loads imei's from their inventory and Google's into their system to be accepted.
  13. I'm using ART also and I get about 12 hours of heavy use. Not playing games, mainly web browsing. I usually keep have Wi-Fi off unless there isn't LTE where I am at.
  14. Doesn't count when all three posts are from the same person! lol! Haha a banned person none the less!
  15. Ahh. Didn't catch that part of the convo. I don't have experience since I only use about 20 min a month.
  16. I have. I called a near by business and it slapped their logo on my screen as like the pictures I have set as contact icons.
  17. Not a serious post. However, I have read that people are getting lucky with band 41 and their N5s.
  18. Nice, two comments and one is a complaint ending with "CYA Sprint". Anyways, have you tried updating your PRL? Since your mini profile has an iphone try turning it off for 10 sec. Then hold the main front button and turn it on, keep holding the button until it boots all the way to the home screen.
  19. LIES! Sprint's coverage map says I am in a Spark zone in Socal. Well, I can't get my N5 to connect to anything other than Band 25. Any tips for the Socal market and getting a N5 to connect?
  20. Makes me want to learn developing even more.
  21. Did you put the settings at the same level? Just call customer service and tell them you are an app developer and you need the msl. Someone in this thread recommended it and worked for me. Store reps shouldn't have an issue releasing it either.
  22. Okay, so I compared my HTC One with the Nexus 5 screens and they are pretty much identical minus the status bar being different and the on screen home/back/recent apps. P.S. picture was taken with my nexus 10, not the best with lighting focus. Both displays were set at the highest brightness levels. Hope this helps. I can send an email of the picture. The upload isn't that clear.
