  1. So I can expect to get a couple of miles of useful range? That will be good. How high do you have your antennas mounted? Two antennas. One vertical and one horizontal correct?
  2. All, I'm going to be working on some rural sites and will be using a wireless internet solution. I think Sprint would be the cheapest option but I'll only be able to use them in some places and I'll need a directional antenna. What do you guys recommend for directional antennas and what useful range can I expect? I don't need it to be super fast. If I'm able to get speeds of 5 down 5 up that would be fine. The setup will be directional antenna connected to a Cisco IR1101 Integrated Services Router. Any feedback is appreciated.
  3. Excellent! Do we have any info on VoLTE national launch timing? I seem to remember someone saying by the end of the year but if I translate from Sprint to english that means probably in 2-3 years.
  4. UND dumped their EBS license ages ago. They could possibly have struck a deal with Polar? That's the only thing I can think of. When I drove by that site yesterday I was not getting band 41 speeds.
  5. As far as I know the roaming limits are the same.
  6. They have a plan. It's called AT&T roaming.
  7. Verizon isn't shutting down CDMA until 12/31/20 now.
  8. It looks like the site at 4th street and 9th ave in Grand Forks has received its triband upgrades. Saw three radios per antenna when I drove by today. Last time I checked Sprint still doesn't own or lease any band 41 licenses here. FCC ULS is down at the moment so I can't check it. Does anyone have any info for me?
  9. I could've clarified. Found on reddit. 5G coverage isn't the greatest in LA. Very spotty based off the coverage map.
  10. It is best without because opening ports unnecessarily is a network security issue. You've essentially opened up your network to hackers.
  11. So what happens to Sprint if SoftBank goes under? They don't actually invest in Sprint anyway so probably nothing?
  12. Saw that. Based on Sprint's performance in San Diego the last time I was there I can believe that. Detroit has always been trash and I'm heading out there at the end of the month. Wonder how much it's improved? I wonder how much of that score increase can be attributed to 25+41 aggregation finally being enabled? From the article:
  13. Problem is Sprint doesn't own b41 here. Hence why I said it'll never happen and I will be forever sad.
  14. Well then I go from 30MHz on the downlink to 35MHz on the downlink. Still doesn't compare to the 65MHz on downlink I would have with 25+41+41+41
  15. Sprint has to run CDMA on A block. Don't they have to keep the CDMA network up as part of the 3 year rule?
