It would be nice if the Airave 4 had the option to switch the band between 25 and 41. @lilotimzis this something that's currently possible?

Ok. This makes more sense. I thought your connection was trash just out and about. Still doesn't make much sense though that they're saying on this one tower. It wouldn't be one tower it would be all the towers in the area since that's how the FCC does licensing. My assumption is that Sprint doesn't have the band 41 license(s) for the channel(s) that they run the Magic Boxes and Airave 4's on in that area.

$100 says they're full of crap because Sprint CS doesn't know anything. Also that doesn't make sense.

It was my iPhone XS that has since been moved to VZW. My iPad Pro 11" is still on Sprint and does the same thing.

It just flips back and forth constantly. One minute it's on 25 and then it decides to drop to 26 and stop working.

I need someone to explain this to me because I am thoroughly confused. At my apartment, my devices love sitting on unusable band 26 (-80 RSRP, <200Kbps) when there is good band 25 available (-85 to -90 RSRP, 15-35Mbps). Why does this happen? Both my iPad and phone do it. I've submitted hundreds of reports in the mySprint app, I've had tickets put in and it's still happening.

I mean don't get me wrong. I think T-Mobile's 600MHz + Sprint's 2.5GHz would be a match made in heaven. But I know what the economic ramifications are likely to be which is why I don't want the merger to go through. I don't want to lose my SWAC plan and I know they're gonna take it 😭

Not quite. It's basic econ that reduced competition will lead to increased prices. Sprint's Chief Marketing Officer even said it would lead to higher prices. From this Bloomberg article:

There was a report posted not too long ago that showed who struggled the worst with congestion in 12 major cities. I can't for the life of me remember which company posted it. I do remember though that T-Mobile took the crown for worst congestion during peak time in 10 of these 12 cities. Does anyone remember who created that report? I FOUND IT!
