    i had the swype issue a few times on my HTC one on online forums. I would make sure it is up to date, and if that is not the case you may want to go to swype's forum and look in there. There should be a fix for this issue.

    I would still try another airave/Airvana. It won't hurt you and Could help. They are on version 2.5 now, so you won't know until you try the new one. If you're willing to wait, then wait it out. With the new plans and the situations arising, why not leave to get better service and come back if it is the better option for you at that time? If i was having issues with voice/text, i would leave. Most of the time though, my service is good enough and if data doesn't work, then I deal with it, but coming from nextel years ago, i'm fine with some of the 3g speeds i get.

    You can always ask for an airave at home in the mean time. That will get you voice and 3g, but that's about it. It should hold you for the time being.

    Trust me i know. I've spent over ten years trying to earn a degree. I know and have learned the hard way. Not everyone fits the educational model of college.

    This would help since the manufacturer could then cut out the middleman. This first step would cut down the price. Next would be the steps that google has taken. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Maybe they will do the same thing that HTC did with the continued credits for turning in old phones.
