  1. I've been trying this since the OTA update and it has not worked for me at all. it will let you change the rdios on and off, but i have had no success with the LTE only mode in areas where it would work without issue.I have tried it with optimizer on and off, power saver on and off, so i'm not sure if it is my phone or if it is something that they have disallowed.
  2. I have not figured it out yet, but the one thing that has changed is the *#*#4636#*#* testing. I tried to go lte only last night and it never connected. went back to the normal cdma+ lte/evdo and it connected to 4g fine, but it still drops that very quickly for 3g.
  3. You're right, the front was 720p. i could have sworn though that there was no 1080p. just an oversight on my part. I do like the change to the options though on the camera.
  4. real quick, i wanted to add that video can now be recorded to 1080. i only remember 720 being an option.
  5. I had green and that came from the htc skins. they also updated the stock browser to show the progress bar below the browser field and the tabs button shows the # of tabs open. it also scrolls faster in the stock browser. the one gripe is that i don't have the same connection choices i had with ics where i can chose to charge by itself or debug, or file share. now i'm plugged into the computer and it is showing the usb connection and usb file share and automatically starts up debug mode when i reconnect. I'll get into it more later...
  6. downloading it as we speak, maybe this will work out for me in this gap of coverage i have at work.
  7. I'm getting a lot more 4G in my area, but my work is still a hole and it's still a few blocks from my house. I also see others are taking care of the Paramount, Lakewood and Norwalk areas.
  8. Robert, What i've noticed around the few sites I've been in front of is that the LTEVO won't pick up the signal for nearly a minute. Even testing the phone in LTE only, this same situation happens. I also notice that with direct line of sight it is still only strong for about a block. At work, i'm in the middle of a LTE dead zone, but if i go to the back of the plant i get it. really annoying, but without another phone to compare, it's useless.
  9. I'm so addicted to using sensorly on my crap LTEVO that i try as much as possible to make sure i don't need to use the phone and put it in LTE only mode. Now i just need to donate money to s4gru and i'll be a super addict.
  10. I've found it in Lakewood and Paramount. Check out the LA Metro Market posts in the Markets forum.
  11. I went there for a preseason game earlier and my LTE wouldn't touch ANY 4g in the area. This was before i did the "lte only" option on the *#*#4636#*#* menu. If I'm more then a block (major intersection) away, i get no signal at all. I'm at work and have no signal in the building, but if i go out to the plant i get it. Just wack.
  12. I have personally been mapping a lot of the lakewood and surrounding areas as i can. I put my phone in LTE only mode and it has been pulling in all the lte while the cdma side is off. The EVO is definately not the strongest phone for LTE.

  14. I found 4g in Lakewood, Ca. Mapped it on sensorly. If i was paying more attention, iwould have just mapped my whole trip but i did not notice the 4g icon.
  15. I just got a $2 credit for music from @amazonmp3 and @imdb. Get your credit here: http://t.co/Zh896yki
