Granted, I haven't been *everywhere*, but I've had pretty much zero issues with VoLTE in KS, MO, or IL.

I had to search, because I couldn't figure it out either. Two things: they changed how you activate it, and gestures are disabled by default even if they were enabled in 9. That may not be required for multi-window to work, but I was used to using it. To turn that on, just search for gesture in settings and you can turn it on (I set to both buttons and gestures). Then, to use multi-window, you have to get to card/task switch view, then press and hold the title above the app you want to split, and select multi-window.One of the main features I used before this is gone unless I can't find it to turn it back. I can't do Multi-screen. I hold down the button when trying to half screen apps and it doesn't work. That right there is enough to mess with me. I use it for when driving Uber/Lyft for having both apps open to turn off one if I get a request. Also I run Signal Check and Waze at the same time and can't do that. Not happy about that. Why can't you run Waze and Signal Check at the same time? Do you mean in split screen (multi-window)?

Yes.
Ok it's been 30 minutes, what's the verdict? A real life review is required. [emoji23]

Me either. I used to see a lot of LG phones, but the endless boot loop problems on the G series phones really hurt them I think.I've honestly never seen one in the wild other than mine. Always see Samsung and iPhones only [emoji20] -
Color me shocked!

I'm glad to hear that, but I suspect far less than half stuck around like she did. [emoji106] But who knows, maybe I'm wrong. The intent was probably to give an incentive for people to try the network, and if it works for them, hopefully they'd stick around. I just don't think sign up discounts work very well.My gf did the free year and then became a paying customer -
What did they expect to happen to churn when they pumped up subscriber numbers by offering a year of free service and other short-term promos?

I was referring to the lack of band 41. That setup is not ideal. What's yuck about 55 down 18 up? -
YuckI don't have any band 41. We have two non-contiguous 5x5 L1900 carriers and a 3x3 L800 carrier. You can get up to 55Mbps down and up to 18Mbps up on band 25 here. Band 26 is completely worthless for downloads though. -
Wasn't aware of that, but I joined and checked it out. Nice to see a lot of chatter, but the chat room/messaging format makes it pretty hard to follow. I did find a link to an XDA article that mentioned an update scheduleThere is a V50 telegram group that is pretty active. Lots of info in there. Right now v20a is the latest version we know of for the Sprint V50 (Android 10 beta with January Security patch). You can install it pretty easily but downgrading is a little bit of a hassle and you need to downgrade to get any future updates. Hopefully Android 10 releases in the next few days or week (soon).
It contains the following statement, the last part of which can't be right: "In December, the South Korean LG G8 ThinQ began receiving its stable Android 10 update, and the same was rolled out a month later to the South Korean and Sprint variants of the LG V50 ThinQ". -
Sometimes I feel like there are about 6 people with V50s.. the V50 forums everywhere are SO dead. Now, how about they push that December update finally, or even January? LOL

Makes it that much more obvious they were just buying it to squat and try to sell for big profit. Unbelievable that it was allowed to go on this long. [emoji2959]FCC wanted Dish to deploy its spectrum, Dish was hesitant to enter a 4 player market, making it a 5 player market. This merger solves couple of problems. It solves Sprint's capex problems, T-Mobile's spectrum problem and Dish's (and FCC's) spectrum deployment problem. Win, win, win! -
My son had to send his S10+ in to have the USB port replaced, because it was reporting moisture even though it has (according to him) never been wet. I saw a number of other reported cases for several different Samsung models.

If nobody covers them well now, it doesn't seem like a valid condition for dropping out of the suit to me. I can see some saying it's less likely to happen with one less major carrier, but I'm not convinced there will still be four very long if the merger doesn't happen.Yeah, those FTM roads are not very well covered by anybody including AT&T. It's just that AT&T covers them better than the other carriers. I hope that Texas and California and New York do extract concessions from T-Mobile on rural coverage. -
Hopefully LG won't take two years to push Q to the V50, so I can actually get you some 5G data. [emoji23]

Was my diagnostic report helpful at all? I can't remember where I was when I sent it. If it would be helpful, I can drive to a 5G area and send one from there. Just let me know what would be the most helpful.

Got the June security patch today, and the change log only referenced enhancements, not the security updates - can't remember if they are normally like that.
