  1. From reading other posts, it sounds like 800 LTE would be turned on only in clusters, not one at a time.
  2. I had a 2.1 mbps speed test by I-894 and Greenfield on a Sunday morning. Not much network traffic I'm sure, but that was before any NV work started. I also just did a test here in Delafield and received 1.93mbps and no NV work has happened.
  3. Were the pilots of the Boeing Dreamlifter using Apple Maps?

  4. You could be getting signal from the Shorewood tower or one of the two towers in Milwaukee that are active on the north side vs. a new one
  5. I flashed to the sponsor PRL that prioritizes 800 over 1900... I'm going to flash back because for example in Delafield, my phone is trying to use the Oconomowoc tower broadcasting 800 when I can see the Sprint tower across the freeway with strong 1900!
  6. Yikes. I guess we should hold off flashing then because we won't know if the PRL write fix works after flashing if it takes a while for regular PRLs to be received OTA again.
  7. Curious too when someone gets the update what PRL version Sprint assigns to that ROM. Hopefully we are away from the special non-800 PRLs, meaning Sprint doesn't see any more issues on 800 on the Note II.
  8. I would assume if it has HD voice there is some kind of modem firmware update! So I have stock ROM, basic root (no bootloader), and the PRL update fix... Wonder if I can accept the OTA update or not.
  9. http://www.sammobile.com/2013/11/19/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-gt-n7100-receives-official-android-4-3-jelly-bean-update/ Note II update is rolling out for the international version. Apparently has a nice speed increase!
  10. Do a PRL update and see if you get 800 after that. That will force the phone to rescan.
  11. Racine is still in the Milwaukee SID, 4153. So it would stay on 1900MHz until you are in Kenosha and lose 4153 signal (Kenosha is Chicago SID). When you leave Racine and come back, then you will connect with Racine 800 because your phone will look for that first. I actually hung onto 800MHz in Sturtevant all the way up to Oak Creek before it dropped out and connected to a much stronger 1900 signal I'm not sure how usable the signal was but that summarizes your phone locking onto that frequency for as long as it can.
  12. Keep in mind generally the phone will not switch to 800 unless it loses 1900 or you do a PRL update. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  13. And then Samsung locks down the leaks of the software before release. Maybe they need a Motorola soak program.
  14. Hopefully this lady on Property Bothers really got everything she wanted. All these $1k upgrades she wanted. Like iron patio doors!?

  15. I know that for example, S4GRU users noticed that the tower both at UW-Waukesha and WCTC were worked on months and months ago. The testing resources must all be north and west! Enjoy it Madison people!
  16. Does anyone know if a site has to be tested by Samsung/Sprint to be 3G approved? I'm still surprised how quiet Milwaukee is. 3 months?
  17. Sorry, that was US Cellular you were roaming on. They are SID 5 I am used to roaming on them inside buildings Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  18. There is obviously still work to be done here in the area. Both of the towers I drive by around Delafield haven't been touched.
  19. Someone on XDA noticed that the 4.3 update firmware version will likely be MK1: http://device.sprintpcs.com/Samsung/SPH-L900/latest
  20. From reading recent posts in the SMR 800 thread, it appears that the phone will only search for 800 if it is on 1900 is if it loses 1900 or a PRL update is done.. Airplane mode won't even force that. Probably explains what happened. And since I am on the Note II couldn't do a PRL update since the one that would come on blocks 800 anyway Cheers. 21. Anyone in the Harrisburg/Hershey area? I only had 800 for part of yesterday and part of today. Curious if it is something with the network or related to the Note 2 issues.
