  1. It would be nice if say LG would make the G6 price competitive with the S8 and start a little price war but that isn't likely to happen. Flagship phones are all max cost. Unfortunately not much of an option in the middle range. Entry level on Sprint are all worse than flagships 3 years ago. Sprint and Verizon have a disadvantage of not being GSM and being able to use the 'off brand' phones. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  2. Would be nice if Sprint offered phone deals too for existing customers. TM has 50% off S7, S7 Edge, and V20. No requirement to be a new customer.
  3. Correct. Though it worked fine for me if I sideloaded a regular PRL. I think it was a manufacturing issue on some. Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  4. I only travel 1-2 times a year but Sprint's international offers are certainly something I consider when weighing against another carrier. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  5. Plus the most glaring difference in that article chart.. Sprint restricts to new customers. Seems to me Sprint is being arrogant. Our customers are so happy they wouldn't look elsewhere!
  6. Verizon is offering great trade+port deals, too. Even an S5 or Note 4 gets a S7 for $5/mo. Sprint needs to have some good offers for current customers for phones, too. I think the V20 briefly had a 50% off offer for everyone, and the Bolt, too. That's it.
  7. You can still do 2 year contracts on Apple's website, that is known, so it may very well go through. I think at this point I'll still not do anything, if I was looking to get an iPhone I'd be all over it.
  8. FYI-Someone on Reddit noticed and it seems to work. If you set FireFox to Private mode the 2 year contracts show up on Sprint's website. Now do I wait and see if it still works when the new phones come out in a month or two?
  9. It doesn't seem like HPUE has been discussed much on here? Will it truly make a big difference (like they claim B41 signal almost at B25)
  10. Part of the problem too is there is a large difference in the phones Sprint offers and nothing in between.. the affordable ones are the $50 pre-paid special types, and the next level jumps way up to flagship pricing.
  11. Maybe we can petition Trump to make contracts great again and have him sign an executive order forcing cell companies to offer them :-D Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
  12. Even LG has dual cameras, though for the opposite effect, for wider zoom. So they shouldn't include that feature just for worry that people are going to accuse them of copying Apple?
  13. No dual cameras in the S8 it seems? Wow, maybe Samsung is saving it for the Note 8. You'd think Samsung would copy the iPhone 7 Plus.
  14. It wouldn't be so bad if Sprint would occasionally offer 50% off on decent phones like Verizon has done. The Pixel 50% holiday offer was quite attractive. I see the V20 has a 50% off offer but appears it is only for new lines.
  15. This doesn't work for those on SERO plans since they are considered an "employee" account but others may want to use this as a last opportunity, assuming it goes through after the order.
  16. I've copied Sprint and him twice, didn't get any good response, just a sorry for the inconvenience. @sprintcare @marceloclaure Not good you took away 2 year contract options for legacy plans over the weekend without warning. @sprintcare @marceloclaure "Inconvenience"? Going from $199 contract price for S7 to now $28.96x24 = $695.04 is little more than that. @jreuschl We apologize for any inconvenience this caused you. Feel free 2 follow & DM if we can address a srvc or acct issue @marceloclaure @jreuschl We'd be happy to review your billing concerns with you. Please Follow & DM your contact info so we can reach out @marceloclaure
  17. Yeah this really stinks. Was holding out for the S8 (or G6 etc). The least Sprint could do is give a notice... Maybe they'll at least give us access to Tidal!! (groan)
  18. 2 year contract apparently is not available from Costco anymore.. less and less options now.
  19. When I was at CES last year the DAS worked great.. 25ish speed test inside the convention center.

    HTC Bolt

Makes me wonder if Sprint spends any time with any phone manufacturers making sure the phone works as well as it can on their network.
  23. http://www.macrumors.com/2016/11/18/apple-throttling-verizon-iphone-7-lte/ Interesting, I assume this would apply on Sprint, too.

    HTC Bolt

https://www.cnet.com/news/htc-bolt-sprint-exclusive-faster-phone/ Surprised no one is talking about this. Sprint bills it as a perfect way to experience their enhanced network. The first 3xCA enabled device out of box. It is still probably too expensive... close to the flagships. It would be interesting to see how it performs in real life RF etc considering it sounds like HTC worked closely with Sprint on this.
  25. Seems like you may have to find a used S3 for example.. those are $10 in credit.
